BLURB

Alone and Looking to Bone! Loudmouthed Mountain Man Seeks Fiery Woman to Grow Old With.

I might look like a tall, tattooed, bearded neanderthal...but like an onion, I have layers. Swipe right if you like a proud cat daddy who catches feelings after direct eye contact.

All I wanted was a casual plus-one to my brother's destination wedding, but those idiots on my family tree hacked my dating profile and sabotaged my quest for the perfect weekend fling. Now I'm stuck on a tropical vacation with only my hand to keep me company.

Until I’m forced to share a room with the bane of my existence: my sister-in-law’s best friend.

Dakota has hated me for the past seven years. I wasn’t losing much sleep over her screaming rants because she was some other guy’s problem. Or she was, until she got divorced.

Being stuck in paradise with a woman who loathes your very existence doesn't sound hot, but after an unexpected moment in our shared palapa, she starts screaming at me in a different way.

What happens in paradise stays in paradise. That is, until Dakota shows up on my mountain with a proposition: be her wingman to help her regain her pre-divorce confidence.

Suddenly, Dakota’s not just the person I love to fight with.

She’s the woman I want everything with.

Excerpt:

“I think we should be friends with benefits,” the mountain man says as he drives down the interstate that leads us back to Boulder.

“But…we’re not friends,” I blurt out as I turn to look at him to make sure he hasn’t been possessed by a demon.

He shrugs. “Semantics.”

My mouth opens and closes over and over like one of those silly singing bass wall hangings. He’s got to be messing with me right now, right? He doesn’t sleep with women more than once…at least not on purpose. “So instead of being my wingman, you want to be my eff buddy?”

“If you’re intent on a label, you can call us enemies with benefits.” He smiles like he’s casually talking about the weather. “It’s honestly genius because if you’re friends with benefits, feelings are bound to get involved because you both already like each other. You hating me makes this much easier.”

“Don’t you think we need to get along for something like this to actually work?”

“Got along just fine ten minutes ago at that adults only club.” Calder shoots me a dark look that I feel squarely between my legs. “Just consider me your emotionally distant private masseuse.”

My mind reels with this proposition that I did not have on my bingo card in my postdivorce era. A casual affair with Calder Fletcher…the contractor who ruined my house and my wedding dress seven years ago. It sounds like a horrible idea that’s sure to end in catastrophe.

Then again, it also sounds kind of poetic in some strange way. It’s like revenge or something. And he’s not the same guy he was seven years ago. I’ve seen that in more ways than one the past few weeks.

I shake that thought away, trying not to let my heart get too involved with this discussion. “I thought you never hook up with girls twice.”

“I don’t usually, but it’s not really a rule I have.”

“So I would be an exception?”

Calder’s jaw muscle twitches. “Sure, Ace. You’re an exception.”

“Why exactly am I the exception?”

He exhales. “I just think you’ve been out of the game for a while, and jumping headfirst into an adult club is too risky.”

“Risky.”

“You have to walk before you can run,” he adds with a smirk that sends my belly into somersaults. “And with any luck, even walking with be hard when I’m done with you.”

Seven year Itch is an entertaining story with an enemies to lovers vibe.

Calder Fletcher is this larger than life mountain man. Dakota is the woman who gets on his nerves. This is love-hate to the nth degree. Oh boy, prepare yourself!

The banter in this book is very witty. Its also a story that makes a fabulous escape from reality &  its very tongue in cheek too!

I honestly can’t wait to read more stories from the author.

From Amazon #1 bestselling author Amy Daws, comes an all-new small town, spicy romance sure to hit you in the gut with laughs, feels, and mountain man grunts.

Help Wanted: Grumpy Mountain Man seeks baby momma. Job is an incubator position only. Surrogate must be impervious to grunting in the form of communication and nosey brotherly neighbors. Rustic mountain range housing available upon request.

I wanted to pummel my irritating brothers when they posted their own version of a wanted ad to help me with my life.

But I can’t fault the results once the right woman lands on my lap.

Becoming a single father is not a decision I made lightly. In fact, it’s the biggest decision of my entire life.

Which is why when I interview Trista, I know she’s perfect.

She’s wild, she’s opinionated, she wears cowboy boots. Even my pet goat loves her…

She’s the exact type of person I was holding out for.

And to my great horror, I realize on our first night of attempting this baby making dance…when the lights are low, the cheap wine is flowing, and the home insemination supplies are laid out on the kitchen counter…

I want to do a lot more than just make her my surrogate.

I want to make her mine.

“By the way…I’m ovulating right now, so I say we get this show on the road when I get back to the mountain tonight.”

Trista, my hired surrogate, sped off in her van, leaving me in a wake of nerves and anxiety. I wore a path on my wood floor, pacing my house and waiting for her to return. I knew this day was coming. I just didn’t know exactly when. And now that it’s here…I’m not sure how to prepare for it.

A knock interrupts my obsessive thoughts, and I realize it’s her.

Time to make a baby.

I open the door and stupidly grunt out, “I went to the Mercantile and picked up pizza.”

She holds up two brown bags in her hand. “I picked up booze.”

She kicks off her beat-up cowboy boots and marches past me, dropping her purse on my small farm table like she’s been in my place a million times…which she hasn’t. I watch her curiously as she props her hands on her hips and assesses the space for a second before making her way toward the kitchen, giving no outward reaction to the home I built with my bare hands.

Not that I need her approval on this house, but I guess I just…I don’t know what I want. A baby. That’s what I want. That should be all that I want from this woman.

She sets the brown bags on my butcher-block island and pulls out two bottles of white wine. Without pause, she twists the cap off one and takes a swig straight from the bottle.

My brows lift. It’s going to be that kind of night.

“These were two for seven bucks at the gas station, and it tastes like it.” She coughs and winces at the taste.

“Do you want something else?” I offer, making a move to my refrigerator. “I only have beer.”

“No,” she mutters and takes another quick sip. “I’m not a very big drinker, but I’m nervous as shit, and lots of people get pregnant drunk, so…science. How are you doing?”

Her candid response is more comforting than she realizes. I haven’t known Trista for long, but I like that she calls a spade a spade. I move to stand next to her at the island, noticing how much smaller she is out of her boots.

I point at the second bottle. “Is that other one for me?”

She silently slides it over, and I twist the cap off and join her in the wine-bottle-chugging experience. I shudder at the horrible taste because I’m not a wine drinker…but I will be tonight. I want her to feel supported through this, and if that means choking down a disgusting bottle of cheap wine, I’ll do it.

“Pizza?” I point at the box on the other side of her.

She nods and helps herself, mindlessly chomping down on a bite.

“I checked on the animals in the barn before I came in here, and they both looked very content in their pens,” she says around a mouthful. “That was really sweet of you to buy those troughs for Reggie. Sorry if I was a bitch about the pen thing.” She takes another swig.

“You weren’t a bitch.” I take another swig, eyeing her baggy T-shirt that’s covered in Millie hoof prints and a substance I can only assume is from the pig.

It’s odd to have Trista in my house. All of our meetings thus far have been pretty professional. And this whole concept of me hiring a surrogate felt like something that was never actually going to happen. It feels more real now that we’re here, face-to-face, without a lawyer talking for us. More personal. Like we’re letting our guards down.

Probably because you’re about to put your cum inside her, my inner voice adds with a dirty sneer. I take a big drink. Buy Now https://geni.us/NMC-MQ

Nine Month Contract is an entertaining, small town romance that gave me so many feels. I love that the author included quirky animals along with the mountain men of the story. It all certainly added to the overall feel of the book!

I wholeheartedly loved the Fletcher family! So very much! The bonds and love they have for each other knows no bounds.

Wyatt has been wanting to be a dad, but with no partner, he is delving into the surrogacy avenue. Needless to say going through an agency has its limits. But when his niece tries to help him out, let’s just say she is a wizard!

When Trista comes to the mountain, she has no idea what to expect. Her past issues surrounding her own family shows she has no clue how a loving family should be.

This book is absolutely eye opening as well as heart warming. I loved everything about Wyatt and Trista’s journey together. I laughed, swooned and shed some tears.

I also cannot wait for more books from the series to come.

I highly recommend you 1 click!
