Michael who is a mortician meets at a book signing Jazz ( Jasper ) who is the local hairdresser, Jazz is the soon to be ( hopefully ) ex husband of Russell Withingham who is the famous author and Michael has many books for Russell to sign.

Mr Pickles is Michael's cat and he plays an important part in the mystery.

Before I knew it I had finished this book, it was so addicting.

I honestly haven't laughed while reading so much for ages.

 The characters are sweet and I could just imagine them together enjoying each others company in and out of.

An interesting story line with much drama written well.

A great read with characters you will never forget added with catnapping, drug deals and a murder and a relationship happening, you have it all!

Lacetown Murder Mysteries, Book 2

An acoustic music festival comes to Lacetown, and with it, another dead body―this one found at Fleishman’s Funeral Home. Michael recuses himself from the autopsy, handing the job over to his arch-nemesis from a neighboring county.

Luckily Michael and local hairstylist Jazz are closer than ever. Between a trio of funerals, a blowout BBQ, and a couple of trips on Beulah, Jazz’s beloved scooter, Michael and Jazz do some sleuthing of their own. With the first gruesome murder still fresh in their memories, they can’t help but wonder if notorious murderer and famous author Russell Withingham might be targeting them from jail, where he’s awaiting trial.

The festival, however, brings in a veritable lineup of potential killers, including a familiar―and most unwelcome―figure from their past. As the murderer circles ever closer to Jazz and Michael, Sheriff Musgrave is quick to remind them that everyone’s a suspect until Sheriff Musgrave says they’re not!

Michael and Jazz are now connecting more making their relationship something special.

The storyline is good plus the writing is spot on.

While an acoustic music festival was on at Lacetown another dead body is located at Fleidhman’s Funeral Home.

 Can the sleuths Michael and Jazz work their magic - hopefully they can!

This small town certainly has great characters who all play an interesting part.

The characters are sweet and I could just imagine them together enjoying each others company in and out of bed . Their sexual explorations were a pleasure to read. An interesting story line with much drama written well .  A great read with characters you will never forget added with catnapping , drug deals and a murder and a relationship happening you have it all.

Both Hank Edwards & Deanna Wadsworth are new to me and although this is my first book it will not be my last. 

As this was book one of a new series I happily signed up to read and review. I love murder mysteries, add in romance and two hot men and it is a win/win for me. murder

From the first to the last page I was hooked. Most Lovely was full of steamy scenes, humour, an intriguing mystery which kept me guessing and some swoon worthy romance.

The main heroes of this book are Michael Fleishman and Jasper “Jazz” Dilworth. I really liked the bumbling and slightly awkward Michael and I loved how feisty and caring Jazz was.

The secondary characters were entertaining and overall I found myself easily relating to the characters.

Not the HEA i was expecting but certainly a HFN and I will be interested to see how the series develops.
