Behind the Plate blew my mind! Chance Carter’s story is absolutely amazing and getting to learn more about him and how he is around his family and teammates is incredible.

The author has written a book that will hook your attention just as it did mine and she should be incredibly proud of the words penned. 

Chance, be still my beating heart. A true family person, with an absolute heart of gold. He’s thoughtful, caring and a fictional character that I grew to really love.

Danika was a breath of fresh air. A strong, capable character who had some big decisions to make. Her introduction to Chance as his math tutor is the start of a great friendship, or is it? 

Truth be told I didn’t want the book to end. It was also wonderful seeing how Chance’s parents Jack and Cassie are doing. If you haven’t read their story in The Game series, I highly recommend you do.

Im honestly blown away and so excited for more of the series to come.

Hands down amazing and a definite must read.

This is an amazing story of how Baseball works and it is not easy. 
The journey of Chance Carter of how he must succeed to pass his exams to be able to go forward in his sport … The tutor he is assigned happens to be a girl, Danika or nicknamed Tutor girl by his friends ..
They form a connection and   Danika knows she cannot go forward , she has many things to consider... she  is bright and open and extremely capable...They would make a great team, but can they?
Chance is such a beautiful guy, he is honest, thoughtful, always striving to do the right thing .. He has respect for all especially for his game ..How their future opens up is such a wonderful part of this book I was astounded with the amount of commitment needed to be in the top at your sport... 
Chance's best friend is Mal,who besides being funny is a wonderful friend who is always there for Chance... Such an exceptionable book that I couldn't put it down.
