The Boyfriend Blog, an all-new standalone contemporary romance by USA Today bestselling author K.L. Grayson.
Boyfriend (n.)
  • A frequent or regular male companion with whom one has a romantic or sexual relationship.
  • A myth. A legend. Impossible to find.
According to her eighty-year-old neighbor, Lizzie Donovan is looking for Mr. Right in all the wrong places. Though it’s made great fodder for her blog, Lizzie is finally tired of swiping left and awful blind dates, and she’s ready to take Mrs. Skinner’s advice and find love the old-fashioned way. Goodbye dating app, hello grocery store, book store, dog park, and wherever else she might be able to meet a good man. And she really has nothing to lose. Not only will she be entertained along the way, but even if she ends up alone, she’ll always have her longtime best friend, Aiden, by her side.
Friend zone (n.)
  • A situation in which a friendship exists between two people, one of whom has an unreciprocated romantic or sexual interest in the other.
  • Location of Aiden Wallace.
According to his eighty-year-old neighbor, Aiden Wallace has been friend zoned. And that’s mostly his fault because instead of opening his eyes and seeing what was right in front of him, Aidan has spent the last several years enjoying the single life. But things have changed—he has changed—and now he needs his best friend, Lizzie, to stop shoving him into the friend zone so he can work at winning her heart. Until then, he’s stuck watching her string of dating disasters and wishing she’d believe him when he tells her he’s the one.

The Boyfriend Blog
August 29, 2015
Boyfriend wanted: Loyal and funny. Wait…I just described a dog. I should buy a dog.
For real, though, Loyal and funny, that’s easy enough, right? Wrong! Do you ever ask yourself why dating in today’s society is so hard? Or where all the good guys are? Or what happened to dating before sex and *gasp* chivalry? I wish I had the answers to those questions for you, but I don’t. Unfortunately, I’m scratching my head and wondering the same things you are, which is how I ended up here in the first place. I never thought I’d be a blogger—especially one who writes about men and dating—and really, I’m not; I’m just a twenty-something girl who got her heart broken for the first time and, while drowning myself in a pint of cookie dough ice cream, thought to myself: Self, how many other girls out there are doing this exact thing? How many of us are loading up on carbs and sugar while mentally berating humans of the penis-wielding variety? I know I can’t be the only one. After proposing that same question to my sister, she suggested that I blog about it. So, whether you’re like me and are swallowing past the bitter first taste of a broken heart, or you’re on your tenth helping and somehow keep finding the courage to go back for more, this blog is for you. Let me start out by saying you are not alone. Louder for the sobbing girl in the back: YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Sit down, buckle up, and let’s enjoy this crazy ride of bad dating apps and even worse dates together. P.S. Men suck. And not in a good way. XOXO, Liz

This is my first read by this author and if all her books are as enjoyable and entertaining as this one was, then I definitely want to read more of her work!

The Boyfriend Blog had amazing characters that really captured my heart and their witty banter was second to none! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and loved Aiden and Lizzie! What a wonderful friendship they have.
What happens when you have feelings for your best friends in the entire world?!
Im not going to tell you though, you need to 1-click the story to find out!
Secrets, sizzling chemistry and a great storyline that was right up my alley as far as books go!
I especially loved Edna, what a character she was and I thought everything that came out of her mouth was pure gold! This book was just so amazing and I really look forward to reading more from the author!

K L Grayson is a relatively new author to me. I really enjoy her style of writing which had me riveted from the first to the last chapter.

According to her neighbour Mrs Skinner, Lizzie Donovan is looking for Mr. Right in all the wrong places. Deciding yo take her advice and get rid of the dating apps she has been using, Lizzie embarks on her search.

Aiden Wallace has finally opened his eyes and seen who has been right in in front of him for the last 20 years or so. Finally over playing the field, he wants to settle down, now all he needs to do is convince his best friend Lizzie to take a chance on him.

I loved the friendship between Lizzie and Aiden, it is strong and true. The fact that they both care for their elderly neighbour Edna, just added another layer to the story. Edna is such a great character and I loved her.

A friends to lovers story that was heartwarming and funny as Aiden is forced to watch Lizzie go on bad dates time and again. An entertaining read that will draw you in with characters you cannot help but fall for.

This book will certainly tick many boxes for many readers, it’s a fun, easy to read romance with great characters and plenty of witty banter and it will certainly leave you smiling like a Cheshire Cat.
K.L Grayson is a new author to me but I will certainly be looking at this authors other works because The Boyfriend Blog is one of the best friends to lovers romances I have read this year.
I loved Aiden and Lizzie they stole a piece of my heart and I found myself hoping and wishing that this adorable couple with a wonderful friendship got the HEA they really deserved.  Friends forever but now Aiden is ready to commit will Lizzie be ready to cross the line and maybe risk the friendship..
Oh did I forget to mention Edna the next door neighbor who at times stole the show .....
All that’s left for me to say is I highly recommend you one click this entertaining read.

Blog Tour: Already Gone by Kristen Proby and K.L. Grayson

Already Gone by Kristen Proby and K.L. Grayson
Release Date: August 27, 2019
ecover AG.jpg
Already Gone, an all-new standalone contemporary romance by New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby and USA Today bestselling author K.L. Grayson
Falling in love is easy…
New Hope, South Carolina is my home. It’s where I grew up, got into trouble, and fell in love for the first time. Scarlett Kincaid was more than the girl next door, she was my best friend, until she decided that small town life wasn’t for her. One minute she was here, and the next she was gone.
The girl I used to fish with down at the creek is now the biggest name in country music. She headlines world tours, has won four Grammys, and I haven’t seen her since. Until today when she sped through town in her fancy car. One look at her big brown eyes was all it took to stir up a whole slew of emotions. Emotions I’d long ago buried and sure as hell don’t have time for.
It’s the aftermath that’s hard…
There are two things in my life that matter. My music, and my dad. Twelve years ago, I packed a bag and chased my dream. Leaving New Hope and escaping the gossip mill was the easiest decision I ever made. I never planned to return, but my father needs me, and he always comes first. So, I did what I had to do. I cut my tour short and came home, despite having a sister who hates me, and a community that doesn’t trust me.
And then there’s Tucker Andrews.
When he propped an arm on the roof of my car, pulled down his sunglasses and flashed his police badge, I nearly swallowed my tongue. Gone is the lanky boy who used to throw rocks at me and pull my pigtails. Tucker is now a six-foot package of brawny, sexy man wrapped in more muscle than I have hit singles. Did I mention he’s a cop and a single dad?
My goal was to help Dad, and get back to my life. But what am I supposed to do when the life that used to strangle me suddenly fits like a glove, and makes me dream of things I never thought I’d have? What happens when the boy I walked away from years ago becomes one of the most important people in my life? I don’t have room for a man much less love.
Right?
Because it’s impossible to hold onto someone who’s already gone.

Blog Tour Teaser .jpg Excerpt:
New Hope, South Carolina. Population 6,129. I know every soul represented in that number. Not a single one of them drives the shiny red Mercedes that just went speeding by. Seventy-five in a forty-five. I flick on my lights and press on the gas, sending my cruiser flying past the city limit sign and the godawful billboard that sits directly behind it; the one declaring New Hope home to country music superstar, Scarlett Kincaid. It wouldn’t be a big deal if this were actually her home. It’s not. Scarlett may have been born here, but her fancy boots haven’t landed on this soil in over a decade. All it took was one call from a hotshot music executive to send her packing before the ink was dry on her high school diploma. Scarlett flew from this town fast enough to leave our heads spinning. Before any of us could process what had happened, little Scarlett Kincaid—the same girl who used to build forts with me in my living room while my mama made us mac ‘n’ cheese—had a hit single sitting at number one on the Billboard charts. She went from homecoming queen and most likely to marry a rich spouse in our senior yearbook, to the queen of country music. The country loves her. Hell, the whole world loves her. New Hope…not so much. And it’s high time that fucking sign comes down. But first, I have to deal with this speed demon in the sexy red car. I sound the sirens, and the car pulls to the side of the road and waits while I walk to the driver’s side window. It’s still up, the heavy tint preventing me from seeing inside. With a hand on my holster—because you never know what you’re going to walk up on—I knock on the window. The dark glass lowers. My first thought: this woman is absolutely gorgeous. Long, dark hair. Pouty lips. And a tiny pink dress. Her eyes are covered by oversized aviators, but I’m sure they’re as pretty as the rest of her. My second thought: what crazy excuse is she going to come up with to try and get out of this ticket? It never ceases to amaze me the things women are willing to do to keep from getting into trouble. I’ve been offered everything from a blowjob to a pay-off to marriage. “Do you know why I pulled you over today, ma’am?” “Tucker?” The woman smiles, then pushes her sunglasses to the top of her head. And that’s when I see the brown eyes I’ve spent more than a decade trying to forget. “Tucker Andrews, is that you?” I step back and square my shoulders. “You can call me Officer Andrews. Do you know why I pulled you over today, ma’am?” “Tucker.” The woman laughs and shakes her head. “It’s me, Scarlett.” At the mention of her name, I’m met with an onslaught of flashbacks. Running hand and hand through the neighborhood with her, laughing and playing, only to have her ignore me the second we got to school. The popular crowd versus the nerds who desperately tried to fit in. She the former, me the latter, and the pain it caused every time she acted as though she didn’t know my name. For years, I pretended it didn’t bother me because I knew that when I got home, Scarlett would meet me at the fence, and the awkwardness from the day would dissipate as though it never happened. But it did. Day after day after day. I was a glutton for punishment. There was nothing in the world I loved more than Scarlett Kincaid, and it didn’t matter how badly she hurt me, I was always willing to forgive her. Her smile and laugh might’ve gotten to me in middle school and high school, but I refuse to let it affect me now. “I know who you are.” Her smile falters.

If you picked this book up without seeing it was written by two authors you would never know because every chapter flows and honestly I couldn’t tell you who wrote what.  I loved everything about this book from the authors writing  to the small town of New Hope and everything in between, I fell big time for characters and if you love small town romance this will be a book you won’t want to miss. Scarlett and Tucker were childhood friends and now a decade later are reconnecting but will they be able to put the years of silence behind them and will they become more than the best friends they were in their youth .....this book certainly has all the feels you would expect in a great read , it’s a beautifully written love story centred in a small town add in a single dad and you get perfection.
Great read and great job from two very talented authors.

Already Gone is a second chance at friendship and a first shot at romance for Scarlett and Tucker.
This book is a mix of sweet and sexy all rolled into one wonderful story. Scarlett is a small town girl who left and never looked back to follow her dream of being a famous country star, but now she has returned temporarily to help her dad. Tucker, her best friend growing up is back in her life again and there is so much more between them this time. When they were young they had friendship but now they are grown up and the attraction and chemistry between them cannot be denied, but in order to make this relationship work so they can have a future together, they each have to find a way to compromise to find the balance between small town life and her fame.

About Kristen:
Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.
During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before the dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list.
Not only did she publish one book, she’s since published close to thirty titles, many of which have hit the USA Today, New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists. She continues to self publish, best known for her With Me In Seattle and Boudreaux series, and is also proud to work with William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins, with the Fusion Series.
Kristen and her husband, John, make their home in her hometown of Whitefish, Montana with their two pugs and two cats.

Wait for Me, an all-new standalone contemporary romance by USA Today bestselling author K.L. Grayson.
My life is a mess. Literally.
I’m a single dad, which means If I’m not cleaning up spilled milk or changing a diaper, I’m pulling gum from my daughter’s hair. I barely have enough time to eat—let alone sleep.
And women? Forget about it. That ship sailed two years ago along with my ex-wife. My brother says I need to get laid. I say, screw that. I’m content with my life, until pop star Nora Hayes walks through my best friend’s front door and flips my world upside down.
She’s beautiful, famous, and completely off limits.
My life is a headline waiting to happen. Literally.
It all started with fishnet stockings and ended with a baseball bat to boyfriend’s Porsche, putting me on the front page of every newspaper and gossip magazine in the country.
My life is spiraling out of control and I’m ready to make some serious changes. What I’m not ready for is a hunky man to strut his jean clad tush into my life. Grayson Calhoun is as rugged as he is sweet. He’s also way in over his head with his kids, and I have an offer I’m hoping he can’t refuse.
What starts as an agreement, turns to a friendship, and quickly escalates to stolen kisses and heated nights spent wrapped in each other’s arms. What we have is temporary. I promise him that I won’t fall in love.
But I make that promise already knowing it’s a lie.

Excerpt:
What is all of this?” she asks, flipping through the pages of my chicken scratch. “Ideas from Marnie.” “Who’s Marnie?” “The manager I spoke with. Keep up, Jessa.” “Sorry. Tell me about her.” “There isn’t much to tell. She was nice. We talked about what went wrong with Becky, where my career has been, and the direction I want to take it. And get this, she outlined a plan for making it happen. We video conferenced for almost three hours, and I’m really impressed with her.” “So, what happens now?” “I told her I’m not ready to go back to LA, and she agreed. I’m going to spend the summer working on some of my own songs for the next album. She’s going to talk with the music execs and make sure they’re on the same page as us.” “And if they’re not?” “Then we’ll go somewhere else. They aren’t the only label in town. Anyway, Marnie thinks it’s a good idea to lay low after what happened with Todd—let the media interest die down while she works on putting our plan in motion, and when I go to Todd’s premiere, Marnie and I will meet in person.” “You still have to go to Todd’s premiere?” I groan and drop onto the bed beside Jessa. “Unfortunately.” “That sucks.” “It is what it is. I shouldn’t have bashed the hell out of his Porsche or stolen his BMW, although it felt great. Lesson learned. Next time I’ll beat up the guy, not the car.” “Let’s hope there isn’t a next time. I thought your brother was going to lose his mind when you called and told us what happened. He was ready to hop a plane and hunt Todd down.” I smile at the thought. Nick isn’t a fighter, but I know he’d go head to head if it meant protecting Jessa or me. “Thank you again for letting me crash here.” “Stop thanking us. You’re family. This is your home too.” I rest my hand on hers and squeeze it gently. “Love you, Jessa.” “I hate to break up the chick fest,” Nick says, appearing in the doorway, “but I’m starving.” “What are you doing home from work?” I ask. “Didn’t you hear me? I’m starving. I was hoping one of you would make me lunch.” I give Jessa a nudge. “He’s your husband.” Nick holds out his hand and pulls Jessa into his arms. The way they look at each other, with stars in their eyes, is absolutely adorable, and also a little disgusting. They kiss, and Jessa melts. I want what they have. When Nick deepens the kiss, I throw a pillow at their heads. “Can you take that into another room, please?” The two lovebirds laugh and stumble out, but the giggling doesn’t stop. I hear another door shut and then a thump, followed by a moan. I cover my ears and flop back on the bed. This is going to be a long summer.

K.L. Grayson is a new author to me and after reading Wait For Me I have to wonder why she hasn’t crossed my radar before now and I will certainly be checking out her other books.
Grayson and Nora’s story captivated me I was hooked from the first page to the last line and I couldn’t put this book down. This book has it all, a single dad, adorable children, a child star trying to find herself, plenty of witty banter and just the right mix of humour and angst.
Nora is tired of the fame and lifestyle she has been living since she became a child star , she is now a woman and needs to take control of her life so she takes a break and decides to spend some time with her brother and sister in law what she didn’t expect was to fall for a handsome single dad of 3.....
Grayson’s life revolves around his 3 adorable children, he is doing the best he can for his family and is not looking for a relationship until he turns up at his friends house to see a  woman who stops him in his tracks ..... can this beautiful star take to small town life with a dad of 3 ....
This is a sweet sexy friends to lovers romance and I loved everything about  this book, I loved the children, I loved the adults, I loved the story and this book left me feeling all fuzzy inside what more can you ask for in a great read. I’m really excited to have found a new author who’s writing captivated me and I can’t wait to read more books by this very talented author.

Oh my goodness! KL Grayson has brought us another wonderful story with Wait For Me! I absolutely loved this book and I fell in love with these characters right from the start and I know you will too! How can you not love a single, hot, wonderful father, a sweet, beautiful, loving woman and three adorable children? You can’t! So, you must check this book out!

Grayson is a caring hard working dad raising his three children on his own. He is so busy he doesn’t have time for dating or a personal life, so when Nora shows up at his friends house he is immediately mesmerized by her beauty, but it is her warm loving heart that truly wins him over. She easily falls in love with his children and is happy to care for them like they are her own. She is open, honest and fun to be around and he needs her, but she needs him just as much. These two lost souls have found something in the other that is like a magnet drawing them towards each other.

Nora has been in the spotlight, always surrounded by people yet so alone until she goes to visit her brother and happens to meet his best friend, Grayson. She has always known something was missing from her life, but Grayson and his three adorable children easily find their way into her heart right from the start and she realizes that she has finally found what makes her truly happy.

This story was deliciously heartwarming and sweet. I so desperately wanted everyone work their way through the obstacles that they are faced with and finally find their way to the happily ever after after that they all deserved.

Single parent romances have fast become one of my favourite tropes; in fact I would almost say I have become addicted to them.

I am new to K L Grayson and I have no idea why that is based on this book and I will certainly be looking to read more from her as soon as I can.

Grayson Calhoun is a single father to 3 and the relationship he has with his children and the way they relate to one another made for a heart warming story that drew me in and had me totally captivated from the first to the last chapter.

The very last thing that Grayson expects or needs is romance in his life. However fate works in mysterious ways and when Nora Hayes offers to help him with childcare over the summer that is what he gets.

As friendship morphs in to so much more, you cannot help but cheer for Grayson and Nora. However, will real life get in their way and force them to part? Or will these two lost souls finally get the happiness that they deserve?

This was an emotional read that certainly pulled at the heartstrings and you cannot help but fall in love with this story, I know I did. It  was at times an emotional roller coaster of a read that will make you laugh, it will make you cry and it will make you swoon.
