Melody Grace is a relatively new author to me as I have only read a couple of this authors books. I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet and romantic story about Cassie Kinsella and Wes.
I love small town romances and this one ticked the boxes for me as I became invested in Cassie and Wes’s story. The writing was strong and descriptive and I found myself visualizing Cape Cod as I was reading.
This is a second chance at love story, with characters that you cannot help but become engaged in. They are so easy to relate to that I found myself cheering Cassie and Wes on as they reconnected. Both need to get over the hurts of the past, particularly Cassie since Wes broke her heart and chip away the walls they have built to protect themselves.
The banter and friendship between them was funny and heartwarming. The chemistry between them is intense and despite themselves they cannot ignore the build up as it threatens to burst into flames.
Will they be able to make their relationship work or will the hurts of the past be too much to overcome?

I love my visits to Sweetbriar Cove and I was excited when I found out we were getting another book in this series of stand-alone’s and Back to You did not disappoint it was everything I expected from Melody Grace and her wonderful characters.
Cassie and Wes have history, he broke her heart and it’s not going to be easy for him to get her to open up and give him one more chance but that was 10 years ago and it seems fate is determined to give this couple another chance but will Cassie be prepared to let the man who destroyed her into her life again and will she open up her heart to him once more ....
Sweetbriar Cove is one of those small towns we would all love to live in and it was great catching up with the friendships and the banter the residents share, that being said I haven’t read every book in this series and yet I was still captivated and drawn in by Cassie and Wes’s reconnection as they got their second chance at love. The characters are easy to connect with and the banter they share flows, I smiled, I sighed and at times I giggled as Cassie and Wes got to know each other this time as adults and I found myself hoping they got the HEA they both deserved. Another great read from Melody Grace and I’m looking forward to where we go next with the residents of Sweetbriar Cove.
