From the first to the last chapter I was invested in Cam and “Trixie” aka Lana’s story
Cam Mitchell is the tight end for the New York Mavericks ( I have no idea what that means but it sounds really good) and Trixie/Lana is a stripper he meets on Quinn’s bucks night.
Not all is as it seems, there is more at play than Cam meeting a stripper and Cam is determined to find out what Lana is hiding. She is on a mission and is focused on achieving it, she has no time for the complications her feelings for Cam create.
Cam is one of those characters that draws you in and I loved him. To be honest, he might well now be my favourite which is saying a lot. He is cocky, arrogant but loveable all at the same time. His love and commitment to the players and his team shines through and his dog OMG. All all I can say is you need to read this book.
Full of humour, laugh out loud, (who am I kidding - snort worthy moments) and incredibly sexy this book will draw you in and you won’t want to put it down. Having said that, Trick Play is slightly darker, deeper and more emotional than the previous 2 books in the series in my opinion. I finished it in almost one go; I just kept saying, one more chapter until sadly it ended.
I loved catching up with the “Maverick” family and cannot wait for more from Max & Monroe. Will Cam and Lana get their happily ever after or will circumstances pull them apart? Once click and find out.

4.5 Stars for Trick Play which is book 3 in the Mavericks Series and this time the story is all about Tight End Cam Mitchell and an exotic dancer known only as Trixie........

There is an instant attraction between these two but Trixie has a secret and she is not prepared to even give up her real name but a night in jail for Cam has him finding out Trixie or should I say Lana is a undercover cop and this is when the fun and games start......
Trick Play is a funny adorable read that will have you laughing out loud and leave you smiling like a Cheshire Cat, the characters are strong and I love how we get to hear what’s happening in the life’s of the guys we meat in previous books without them taking over the story. Once again the queens of romantic comedy have given us another great read.

This book had me wondering what may eventuate between him and a stripper, two people from very different worlds, or are they? Not all is as it seems!! I really enjoyed this story! The banter, the steamy moments and the family and friends surrounding Cam and Lana! Cam is a man who goes after what he wants but does Lana’s job get in the way!!?
