SYNOPSIS

Fake Rocks is the first book in The Rocks Duet by Julie Archer. 

I love that this story combines a rocker chick, Saff and an everyday guy, Tris. 

Tris has recently moved in with this Aunt and Uncle to start fresh and finds himself working with his Uncle on a house renovation project. The house belongs to Jonas Barnes and Saff Barnes, front woman for the band TheSB. 

Saff has a horrible reputation for partying and hooking up with the wrong type of men. So much that her label is threatening to cut ties with her unless she cleans up her act. Jonas, Saff's cousin and manager, tells her she need an everyday, regular boyfriend. When they meet Tris, they think he would make a perfect candidate. 

Saff hates the idea of a fake boyfriend to clean up her image but is willing to go along with it to save her band. When she starts to get to know Tris more, she finds herself quickly falling for him. 

I enjoyed reading the beginning of Tris and Saff's story and am keen to see what happens in the next and final book of the duet.
