I absolutely devoured this book from start to finish!

I have always loved Lani Lynn Vale’s books for a mixture of reasons but mainly because the plots are unique and the character banter frequently has me in stitches. Well Aware lived up to my expectations and went well and truly beyond!

Not only was Magnolia an amazing heroine but Beau was perfection. AND we can’t forget about Miss Iris! Oh my goodness, that little girl has my heart even though she may be fictional! Iris is Magnolia’s niece/daughter who is four years old and autistic. Lani wrote her character perfectly! I aww’d that many times reading about her! Her interactions with Beau were so cute!

I loved that Magnolia is a professional soccer player and that Beau, was acting CEO of her team. Their relationship build was incredible to read.

I honestly could go on and on about this book and never stop gushing about it. I loved it all!

I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

With Spite is book 8 in the Don’t Date Him series and is fantastic! 

I loved Hux and Bernice’s story. Hux is a meat processor/butcher at his family’s business, The Mercantile. He also has a secret obsession, and her name is Bernice. 

Bernice moved to Montana after discovering that her brother was alive and not dead like everyone told her. There’s only one problem, she has severe asthma which is easily triggered. But nothing, not even her body will keep her away from her brother, Creed, again. 

Bernice finds a job at The Mercantile, and sees Huxley for the first time and is mesmerised by his tattoos and his devil may care attitude.  Now Bernice has to deal with Hux’s mother who has the worst attitude and is horrible to work for. 

But being close to Hux helps her discover their connection and the fact that Hux is absolutely obsessed with her and wants to look after her. 

Secrets are exposed and the plot twists in this book are awesome! 

I love that this series is slightly different to Lani’s other books but they are just as good, if not better! I can’t wait for the next book!

I usually am a sucker for Eva Winners Thorns of Omerta series but this one didn't hit the mark for me. 

Eva Winners' books are usually brilliant and full of suspense but Thorns of War only had a smidge of suspense and tended to be a lot more predictable. 

Lykos is the head of the Greek mafia and ends up having a one night stand with Violet one night while he's in the US on business. 

Years later, Violet is called to Greek as a psychiatrist via a weirdly cryptic note. She has no idea who her patient is but has an address. When she arrives, she finds it's Lykos' house. 

I liked that the book had some hidden secrets that came out while reading. That kept my interest going, that and I love a good psychological story line. 

I didn't really see much growth of the character except for maybe Violet. She became a bit more open minded. 

Overall, this book definitely isn't a favourite of mine and was predictable in the story line. 

I'm really hoping the next books in the series improve.

This series just keeps getting better and better! Lani Lynn Vale never ceases to amaze me with how she makes each couple and each character so unique!

Spicy Disaster is Odin and Constance’s story. This book tugged on every heart string I have and then some!

Odin is the big, grumpy Viking looking biker but has his own hidden secrets. Reading the previous books, I had no idea that Odin was a medical examiner or was a doctor in his previous life. I especially loved the fact that he has super rare blood type (something I didn’t know existed until this book!).

Constance is a single Mom who is struggling to look after her sick daughter, Wendy. Wendy needs regular blood transfusions to stay healthy but the problem is that she also has this unique and rare blood type. When Constance is one day looking for a donor to help Wendy, a mysterious email pops up and tells her to move, she doesn’t even hesitate! She would do anything for Wendy. I also loved the fact that Constance helps her family and their wild life recovery centre. Another fierce, fantastic and unique heroine, whom I loved from the very start!

I loved how both characters developed throughout this book. Odin becomes just a smidge more soft and falls in love with not only Constance but also Wendy. I loved how many animals made an appearance in this book as well. Not only the wild life but Constance’s near pet Osprey, Possum. Love that bird! 

I can’t wait to read what magic Lani Lynn Vale writes next!

This series keeps getting better and better and I am loving it! 

This is Denver and Holly’s story, an awesome enemies to lovers romance. 

Denver was put in an impossible position when Holly’s Dad left all of his farm and house to Denver and not Holly. He never told Holly, as her Dad didn’t want that burden falling on her, which caused Holly to hate Denver for years.

Holly put herself through vet school and returned to the only home she knew and loved. She didn’t want to work for Denver’s brother but it was an offer she couldn’t refuse. 

Holly wants to stay as far from Denver as possible but when she gets evicted, the only place she can afford is the apartment above his barn. 

The drama that enfolds from both Holly’s Mom and Denver’s ex, definitely keeps you wondering what is going to happen next. 

I loved the suspense and how Denver is so protective of Holly and his girls. 

I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!
