This is Blaise and Absinthe “Sin” Solomon’s story which starts while they were both in the military. Blaise was well on her way through boot camp until one of her drill sergeants takes too much notice of her. Sin noticed Blaise straight away and vowed to protect Blaise. When his fellow drill sergeant attacks Blaise one night, Sin takes things too far and nearly kills him.
Blaise knows that she needs to repay Sin for what he did that night and follows him through his time in prison. She leaves the military voluntarily and becomes a prison guard. She spends years looking out for Sin even though he can take care of himself.
When their feelings for one another finally come to a head they never expect the consequences of that one time. After Sin’s release he vows to make Blaise his in every sense of the word.
I love the interaction of the characters throughout this book. I especially love that characters from Lani Lynn Vale’s previous MC series make guest appearances and are tied into this series.
This series not like any MC series I’ve read and that is one of the reasons why I’m enjoying these books so much!
I can’t wait to read the next one!
