I was so excited to finally get to read Zach’s story!! After reading the incident that caused Zach to go to prison, and then realising that his story was going to be in this series, I couldn’t wait to read it! 

Lani Lynn Vale delivers with Gen Pop and I have to say this is my favourite book of the series, hands down! 

Crockett from Crockett’s Corner has put her life on hold when her grandfather needed help with the store. Now, she’s burning out and is in desperate need of a break. When Zach comes into the store after getting out of prison, her and her grandfather hold nothing against him. They even treat him to a meal and clothes! From then on, Crockett has a crush on the mysterious Zach. Zach has kept his distance from Crockett even though it’s the last thing he wants to do. After just getting out of prison, he doesn’t think he’s good enough for Crockett. But certain events start to unfold that catch Zach’s attention and when he rescues Crockett from the side of a busy highway, he knows enough is enough. 

This book punched me right in the feels and is perfectly timed as Crockett was an aspiring Olympian earlier in her life! This book had me laughing, angry and shocked. It was emotional roller coaster from start to finish. The secondary characters are unlike anything I’ve read before and that really kept my attention. The plot line is amazing. 

I seriously cannot recommend this book enough. You will not regret reading this book!
