I never thought I would say this but…Lani Lynn Vale has just ripped my heart out!
The first book in LLV’s newest series and wow!
The story of Haggard and Sophia is one that you will leave you reaching for the tissues my friends! It is full of ups and down, jaw dropping scenes that have left me shocked and even a few parts that had me giggling.
Sophia is only twenty-two but has had a crush on her best friend’s father for nearly her entire life. Now this is not the type of book I typically read but LLV I absolutely had to. And man, was it worth it! Sophia knows it’s a long shot but is willing to go the distance to get her man.
Haggard is the president of the Battle Crows MC and has already been through the ringer with one wife. He definitely does not want to go down that road again, except he can’t seem to stop thinking about his daughter’s best friend. He knows he shouldn’t want her but that definitely doesn’t stop his heart from wanting what it does.
As always, I can’t fault Lani’s writing. She delivers book after book that leaves you feeling things you didn’t expect to.
I can’t wait to see what happens in Shine’s book!
