I seriously love the O'Callaghan clan and will miss their stories now that their series has finished!

Kristen Proby has delivered another witty contemporary romance that has pulled at my heart strings and had me giggling with Maggie's antics all the way through.

Mary Margaret O'Callaghan, or better known as Maggie, has the Irish temper we all have come to love while reading the O'Callaghan series and the determination to move on with her life after her abusive husband died two years ago. Except, she can't seem to stop thinking about her brother's best friend Cam.

She's known Cam for many years as he partially grew up with the O'Callaghan's but never really looke at him as a brother. He was always Kane's hot best friend. Now, years after they realised the attraction between them both, they finally start to see that maybe giving in to their desires and attraction, instead of fighting it, is exactly what they need.

Cameron Cox, who served in the Army, and now works in top secret business contracts, has always been attracted to Maggie. Now that he's not having to be deployed at the drop of a hat he really wants to give a relationship with her a chance. Except, he has to fight through her stubborn Irish defenses first.

The banter between Cam and Maggie as well as all of the O'Callaghans is hilarious. I seriously cannot get enough of this family and I really hope that we get to see more of them in future series. I loved how all the siblings were there for one another in their time of need. Kristen Proby nailed these characters personalities perfectly!

The mystery and angst parts of this book were phenomenal! You never knew what was going to pop up next or what was going to happen.

Take a Chance With Me will definitely be one of my top reads for 2022!
