I am loving this series!
Carrie Ann Ryan seriously knows how to write a brilliant shifter romance. While this book could be read as a standalone, I recommend reading this series in order as there is a storyline that flows from one book to another.
Hunted in Darkness sees Chase, the Alpha of the Aspen pack, fighting the demons of his past and also battling the vampires that are insisting in trying to kill them. Throughout all that he seems to find himself drawn to Skye, the princess of the Redwood pack.
Skye knows she’s important to the Redwood pack but isn’t high in the hierarchy. She always seems to struggle to prove herself to not only her family but also to her pack. She’s confused, as well as her wolf, because she’s not as submissive as she should be.
When Skye feels the strong attraction to Chase, she knows if she gives in to her desires it will be hard to keep her feelings out of the way.
I loved this book from start to finish and had a hard time of putting it down. It’s filled with action and suspense and some steamy scenes!
I cannot recommend this book or this series enough!
