The writing is beautiful, the setting feels real, and the descriptions of farm life are vivid and full of warmth. Watching Emerson and Jasper figure out who they are and what they mean to each other was touching and full of heart.
By the end, I had happy tears and a big smile on my face. Such a wonderful, emotional read—definitely a 5-star book!
