What started as me venting my dating disasters online (creative outlet, don’t judge) has turned into a blog with actual followers—and the only thing keeping me in my dirt-cheap apartment. My grandmother-slash-landlord insists I “prove my creativity” to stay, so the blog lives on.

Except now my readers want a happy ending. With an ex.

Problem? None of my exes qualify.

So…I invent one. The perfect guy. The one that got away.

Rule #1: Never roast your exes online if they know how to read.

Rule #2: Definitely don’t make up a fake ex-boyfriend just to keep your rent low.

Rule #3: do not—under any circumstances—let your best friend discover the lie.

Because now he’s volunteered to become my fake perfect ex. And the more we fake it, the more I can’t tell if my readers are the only ones falling for the story.

Turns out, the biggest plot twist of all?

Hilarious and Brilliant!!

Oh my word was this book just what I needed. 

I keep forgetting that RVD can write hilarious rom coms just as well as her mafia romances. 

Texts from My Exes had me laughing hysterically nearly the entire way through. The banter between Ezra and Harper is funny, witty and pure rom com perfection. 

Ezra and Harper are best friends who secretly have always had a thing for one another but never wanted to cross the line. So when Harper needs to do prove her creativity to save her Aunt's apartment, she pulls out all the guns and starts a TikTok serial about dating your ex's. 

I love that RVD threw in a little bit of KPop referencing as Ezra is half Korean. 

The nerdy referencing was on point and I just ate up all the teasing between the two characters. 

Grandma Blue is a hilarious secondary character as well. The ever scheming octogenarian. OH! And we can't forget Harper's Dad, who is allergic to technology! OMG the family dinner scene had me crying I was laughing so hard. 

So much comedic brilliance packed into this! I can't recommend it enough!

Texts from my Exes is a story filled with fun characters and banter!

Its an easy to read journey where Harper uploads her dates with her exes! They are outlandish ones too! Oh boy! 

But its her best friend Ezra who takes the cake! Their friendship is what I liked most! Easy conversation albeit a bit out there but when you know someone so well, you intrinsically know all their quirks, right?  

A fun story that will have your head spinning with ridiculousness and humour!

Immortal Sun is completely different to RVD’s usual genres of writing and it’s definitely got me intrigued. 

The story of Cyrus and Cleo is steeped in Egyptian and Sumatran lore with immortal gods, vampires, fae all mixed together. 

Cleo goes to work for Cyrus after he promised to help her find her missing brother who supposedly was on an archeological dig and disappeared. When she gets there it’s not what she expected at all. 

I enjoyed the banter between all the characters and that Cleo was different to all the others that came before her. She stood up for herself and gave as good as she got. Cyrus is basically a bully who has one purpose and that’s to win his trial so he can ascend to Mt Olympus. 

This book wasn’t exactly easy to follow at first but by the end I couldn’t stop reading and needed to know what happened. I definitely wasn’t expecting the cliffhanger or the massive plot twist but now I can’t wait to read the next book.

Wow! What an amazing book full of unexpected twists and turns and of course the unforgettable banter that exists in the ever expanding Eagle Elite world. The characters may change but one thing will always remain, “Blood In, No Out”. 

I loved the characters of Bella Abandonato and Ivan De Lange. Bella is the daughter of the one of the OG characters of the Eagle Elite series, Nixon Abandonato. And Ivan has grown up with Bella and their relationship can only be coined as a love/hate relationship. They can’t stand one another but somehow they always end up getting into an argument that eventuates in violence. 

Ciao, Bella continues the next generation of Eagle Elite characters and we get to learn more about the cursed De Lange family line. The Five Families tried to cleanse the De Lange family line from existence but left a few key people alive. Ivan, being one of the chosen. Ivan was secretly groomed from a young age under the direction of Junior, Tex’s son. But even being a De Lange didn’t keep Ivan away from Bella. 

Bella is feisty, just like all the other incredible heroine characters in this series. She comes across a little as a spoiled princess, but what do you expect being Nixon’s youngest daughter? Now that the kids are at Eagle Elite, it’s time for them to grow up. Ivan and Bella are thrown together as roommates at Eagle Elite to get them to quit fighting all the time and learn how to get along. No one expected for things to take such a quick or drastic turn though. 

The plot twists in this book were AMAZING. I loved the character banter and that we get to see the OG characters come back and make an appearance. I truly hope this saga never ends and that RVD keeps building this world. I love all the characters and can’t wait to see what happens next!

Ciao Bella is about Ivan & Bella & its something else entirely. You could cut the animosity between them with a knife! Oh boy!

The Mafia families, the tempers, the frustrations and the secrets all round up for one very intense read! 

I wasn’t sure whether to like Ivan at all and Im still not sure he can redeem himself ever. Riling up the OG men is never a good idea but he has reasons. Needless to say as the storyline goes, you are in for a very tumultuous ride and everyone should watch their backs! 

The banter, the turmoil & the ending made for an unexpected story about a beauty and a beast!

The conclusion to the duet is here! Wright Kind of Love is Chase and Harley’s second part of the story and boy is it a roller coaster of a ride. 

Needless to say I thoroughly enjoyed every word penned. 

The rivalry between both their families is rather difficult as you read along, especially with their respective fathers. I loathed Chase’s Dad, yikes what an awful man. But Chase is nothing if not persistent in wanting Harley and will go to the end of the earth for her. 

I loved Harley, she has a strong head on her shoulders and is caring to those in her circle. Chase is swoonworthy and together, these two are fire. 

I wholeheartedly love the Wright family. A duet I would highly recommend.

Where do I even begin to do this scintillating, entertaining story justice! I cannot get enough of the authors stories and Meant for Stone is one of my absolute favourites! Its a sizzling but also emotional read! 

Stone is a professional hockey player and when he meets Ryleigh, let’s just say the bumpy ride ahead is not without drama or steam! Both used to living in the limelight they try to keep their relationship a secret. What happens when the long distance issue becomes too much to handle, do they make a decision to stay or leave?

What I really loved was how in your face both their families are. The emotions this book drew out of me, made me love their story so much! I can’t wait to see who the author has up for us next!
