Let love stay is book 2 in The love series.
We pick up right where book 1 ended off. Which I like. I love books where you pick up where the previous one left off. No time gap, no years in between.
We last saw Reid leaving the hospital because Maddy pushed him away. Maddy went home with Momma and Reid well he decided to meet up with Katie, who he found out was his step sister. He didn't know to much about her or his mom after he left town. He really didn't want to. But if it meant being with Maddy it was worth a shot.
They were apart from each other for a week but it was hell for both of them. Maddy couldn't sleep, nausea from being pregnant was kicking in. They were a hot mess. In that week Reid went to see his mom. All I have to say is grab your tissue's.
After a week Maddy texted Reid saying she loved him and missed him, wanted to see him. They spoke and they were going to meet up. While Reid went to pick Maddy up from work he saw some guy waiting and he didn't know for who but found out he was waiting on Maddy. Oh my Reid lost it. He went all alpha male claiming Maddy as HIS!! I mean she really was, their love was still there for each other, they just had to get past their issues.
As they work things out, other obstacles get in their way. Maddy pregnant she decided not to go back to school. So the question was, can Reid transfer is internship? will they get past their issues? What were they having? a boy or a girl? did they decide on names? what happened to his mom? Oh and what was going on with Melanie? Did they get married? All these questions are answered in the book. It was a great read. 1 thing I have to say is Reid I would of done the same thing to my dad that you did. Melissa it was great, well written and the sex was hot and steamy. I can't wait for the 3rd installment.
