The sizzling-hot Caldwell Brothers series—perfect for readers of J. S. Scott and Emma Chase—hits the Vegas strip as a bad-boy gambler from Detroit Rock City shows a single mom what it means to play for keeps.

For Morrison Caldwell, life is a game of chance. A high roller with a legendary poker face, he’s the wild card of the family, always chasing the next thrill and never staying put for long. The one place that always lures him back is Las Vegas, with its hot tables and even hotter women. He’s perfectly content to live his life as a series of one-night stands. But when a parking lot confrontation with a cocktail waitress takes a naughty turn, she leaves Morrison aching for another round.

After a long losing streak in Sin City, Hailey Poe is ready to get lucky. A steamy tryst with a cocky, mysterious stranger is the kind of no-strings encounter she’s been craving . . . until Morrison Caldwell asks for more than she’s willing to offer. But when Hailey’s controlling, soon-to-be ex-husband tries to take her daughter away, she can’t afford to turn down a helping hand. In this winner-takes-all game, Morrison is gambling with Hailey’s life—and her heart.

5 Star Review
I was given this book for an honest review
Where do I start this book had me from page one and I fell for Morrison (Ace) hook line and sinker......
This is the second stand-alone in The Caldwell Brothers series and this is Morrison and Hailey's story but there is quite a bit of input from the other Caldwell's and their families.
Morrison is Vegas he plays the game, drives a Porsche, wears smart clothes and designer sunglasses but underneath it all he still has the Caldwell family values......
Hailey has not had it easy she was won in a poker game, has a little girl and now has to pay the debt back to her Ex for her freedom.....
A chance meeting between these two and sparks fly but will Hailey let Morrison help her and will Morrison except that its not going to happen overnight. He needs to give her space, take his time and show her what real love and families do for each other.....
Hailey deserved her HEA and I'm so pleased that Morrison gave it to her.
I fell in love with Hendrix but it seems that as each brother comes along I fall even harder for the next one. I am a fan of both these authors but together they are phenomenal. This book has it all romance, some very hot sex, some laughs along the way and off course a HEA
Can't wait for Jagger's story

My hero!! That is how I feel after reading Morrison, he is indeed an alpha knight in Caldwell armour!

He is so far my favourite, oh what a man! Sigh and swoon big time I did, lol!!

Hailey has had an unfortunate life to date except one thing that she lives for...her one love!
She is running out of her job to her car when another car is blocking her from leaving! Enter Morrison, he is the one blocking Haileys car!
This chance meeting is hot, and what eventuates afterwards is a story that had me so captivated I didn't want it to end!
Morrison is a force to be reckoned with, add his brothers into the mix and wow I cannot tell you incredibly protective they all are to their ' family' and those that come into their fold!
This story was all kinds of amazing and I cannot wait for Jagger's book!
These two authors can write incredible, can't put down stories that will stay in your heart and mind!!
Must read series! Make sure you add them to your TBR list!

Another 5 star hit out of the park.

The stand alone second book in the Caldwell Brothers series is amazing!  Morrison Caldwell has as much swagger as the rock star he was named after.  One common theme running throughout this series is the amount of overwhelming love and loyalty all three Caldwell brothers have toward their mother.  And this ultimately instills in the brothers a deep seated need to protect the women in their lives.

Morrison or “Aces” as he is known in the poker world, has no desire to settle down or change his way of living.   Until Aces blocks Hailey’s car in one night in a parking garage.  Then he takes her world by storm.  Hailey is married to a man who essentially won her due to the loss of a poker game and keeps a record of all her debts.

The pacing of this novel is quick.  The chemistry is great.  It starts off with a bang and then has a wonderful slow burn.  The way these brother’s lives continue to intertwine is a fabulous focus on the strength of their family.  The way the  authors build the character of Morrison takes a great deal of finesse.  He could easily have crossed the line of being a cheesy or greasy character, but he doesn’t.  He walks the alpha walk and talks the alpha talk, but not so much that he doesn’t allow Hailey the freedom to find herself.

This is a well written solid continuation of the series.  I love the Caldwell brother and can’t wait to see what Jagger has to offer.
