Have you ever looked at your companion and thought - how did we get here - where is the spark? Have you ever asked a question and had the answer shake you to your core?
Jenna and Ruby have been married for several years, three kids and a ton of life have occurred between them. Somewhere along the way the spark has faded and the grass starts looking a little greener on the other side of the fence. Rudy is a member of the Hellions MC, so you get to see how the club deals with this issue as well. But don't let this story fool you, it still has all the grit of a MC read.
Perhaps this book hit a little close to home for me. Every woman who has ever been in a marriage rut needs to one click this read faster than a toddler destroying a clean room. Of course, there is a fantastic chemistry in the backstory between Ruby and Jenna and you can see the passion and fire that was there. There was an interesting third party in this relationship. Let me introduce you to life. You know the everyday crap that you get lost in dealing with and autopilot takes over, or the kids take over and you lose the fire that made you...you. The journey these characters take to discover everything that have and everything they lose blows me away. Ms. Camaron wrote both his and her points of view and it was totally refreshing. I didn't feel at all like I was reading a man written by a woman, you know the stereotypical overly gushing alpha. Rudy seemed real. Everything about these characters seemed real. Well done, Chelsea Camaron, well done!!
