Great read!! Everyone loves stories about crime families, and this one is an awesome story. Cillian O’Malley is the son of a powerful crime boss, but a violent past makes him vulnerable. Oliva also has ties to a crime family, and the two have an instant chemistry. But, she recognizes his family name. Her own past with a crime family make her reluctant to get involved with him, even for a “no strings attached” romp.
When Olivia’s family comes to bring her back into the family folds, she has to decide whether to trust Cillian with her secret. She will do anything to protect her daughter and keep her away from her family. Can Cillian and Olivia survive their family connections to forge their own destiny?
Amazing story!! The storyline is intense, but there are moments of humor to break it up some. It’s filled with suspense, plot twists, and keeps your heart racing. It definitely keeps your attention. I am new to Katee Robert’s work, but I will definitely be checking out more of her books to read. This is a definite must read!
