Book two in the series was a great build on from the first in the series. The relationship between the brothers continues to build and it was great to see their camaraderie.
Raven’s father was killed in a car crash when she was younger. It appears that he was leaving with Diana Pierce, a betrayal that Raven has never gotten over. Raven owns and runs the local bar; Dalton Pierce has returned to help run Pierce Construction with his two older brothers. What happens when fate brings these two together?
When Dalton goes to the bar with his brothers, he is immediately attracted to the sexy bartender and asks her out; she however is not interested. Dalton offers to restore the bar back to it’s original glory in an attempt to win Raven over. Dalton finally wears Raven down, but can their fledgling relationship survive the ultimate test when the past comes back to haunt them? Or will they be destroyed?
Not only was there smoking hot scenes, but the emotions running deep certainly touched a chord. The chemistry between Dalton and Raven sizzled, their banter at times humourous but underneath it all lies a level of hurt and pain that is simply hard to ignore. Raven wants forever and is convinced that Dalton is not what she is looking for. Can Dalton convince Raven to take a chance?
Any Time Any Place was extremely well written, the characters were believable (not perfect) as were the circumstances they all found themselves in at times. I cannot wait to read Tristan’s book.
