Synopsis
Cockloft: A firefighter term used as a structural space above ceiling and below rafters, often connecting adjacent occupancies and permitting fire to spread laterally, often unseen.
Gabriel Martinez is the most arrogant and infuriating man I’ve ever met. He has a knee-weakening smirk that makes me want to kiss—no—slap it off his rude, sexy face. CeCe Kensington is as pretentious and spoiled as they come. The ridiculous purses she shoulders around are as big as her attitude. And don’t get me started on her mile-long legs or full, glossy lips that are meant to be wrapped around a guy’s… If she only knew the dirty things I think about doing to that sassy mouth of hers, she'd be hightailing it back to her side of town.

I loved every page of Cockloft!
This was the first book that I read by K.C. Lynn and with every turn of the page I couldn't keep the smile from my lips or the laughs from bubbling out.
CeCe (AKA Blondie) is a force to be reckoned with. A force with an oversized designer purse and some of the most fashionable clothes and shoes a girl could dream of. She meets Gabe (AKA Fireboy) for the first time, it's when there's a fire in her apartment building and she just needs to find one important thing before evacuating.
They start off with a love/hate relationship where they can't stand the sight of each other but find themselves ridiculously attracted to one another. They're relationship is explosive!
I loved reading about how two people from different sides of the tracks find their way to one another and overcome a ton of preconceptions.
If you're after a quick and fun read, Cockloft is for you!
