Those are just some of the nicknames I’ve been given in the last few years. They don’t bug me. Not one bit. They’ve all been true, especially that last one. You should see my ass. You can bounce a quarter off my cheeks.
Here’s the thing—when you spend the first three years of your career warming the bench for the best player in the league, you can’t get a chip on your shoulder. You have to stay sharp and be ready for that moment when you swap out a ball cap for a helmet and get your pants dirty.

Coop maybe the star attraction in The Most Valuable Playboy Charity Auction but he has been celibate since the start of the season and he was not going to jinx the teams winning streak by letting a woman win him who might want to get in his pants so he gets his friend Violet to bid for him, problem is it doesn't end there the press have got wind of Coop being in a relationship so he has to convince his best friends sister to have a fake relationship with him. What starts off a fun fake relationship soon turns into both Coop and Violet wanting more, but what do you do when you fall in love but you believe it to be a one sided love ........This book has it all, Coop and Violet stole a peice of my heart, I laughed out loud or should I say snorted out loud, and at times I swooned over this couple. Lauren Blakely is one of the most talented rom- com authors around and Most Valuable Playboy did not disappoint, I really hope we get more from the pro football team that this story is set around.
This is the first sports romance that I've read by Lauren Blakely and she she scored a touchdown with this one!
I loved Cooper and Violet's story. How one crazy night at a bachelor auction turns their lifelong friendship into an amazing roller coaster ride of a "fake" relationship. Or was it fake after all??
Cooper was the Playboy of the Renegades but after becoming the starting quarterback he turns very serious and basically turns celibate. What he doesn't realise though is that his best friend's sister is about to test his control to the limits.
I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read more in this series!
