Review Blitz: Drunk On You by Harper Sloan

Drunk on You is book 4 in the Hope Town Series and this is Nikki and Shane's story, Shane is Nate's best friend and business partner at The Dirty Dog Club and Nikki is Embers Bestie we first met them in Im With You- Nate and Ember's story.
Shane and Nikki have had the hots for each other for ages but up till now both have been in relationships, toxic relationships they may be but this couple would never cross the line of cheating, so when they realise they are both single things heat up pretty quickly. Both getting over the hurt from their previous partners they decide on a physical affair, no feelings to come into it !! As if this would ever work ......
Drunk on You is a beautifully written  love story, it has characters that are easy to fall for,, the chemistry is sizzling and their story gives you that fuzzy feeling that touches you right in your heart. Another 5 star read in one of my favourite series Hope Town.

This book was so worth the wait; I so want a Shane Kingston in my life.  What starts out as a fake relationship, quickly morphs into so much more for Shane and Nikki.

The path to Shane and Nikki’s happily ever after is filled with one step forward, two steps back as outside forces try to ruin what is blossoming between these two. However,  Shane and Nikki are determined to explore the path that they have taken and boy what a path it is.

Drunk on you is edgier, more naughty and so smoking hot that I needed a fan several times whilst reading this book.

Shane is pure alpha and dominant, whilst Nikki is prepared to explore her wild and submissive side . Nikki takes to the lifestyle like a duck to water and when she grabs onto the rope and reaches for it, you just have to cheer and melt, because there is Shane ready to catch and protect her.  

I loved the characters of both Shane and Nikki, both separately and together and honestly, these two belong together.

It was also great to catch up on what is happening in the lives of Nate and Ember. If you haven't had the pleasure of reading this series, do yourselves a favour and read it now. You won’t be disappointed.  This is Harper Sloan writing at her best and I cannot recommend this book more highly and I eagerly await the next book.
