Mess Me Up not only messed me up but completely destroyed me. The first part of this book was so heart wrenching I needed tissues on more than one occasion.

Rome Pierce has gone from professional football player to corrections officer and also a single father. His world is slowly falling apart and the only thing keeping him together is his penpal, RP’s Biggest Fan.

Isadora Solis, is one feisty Latina who not only runs her own cleaning business but also works for her parent’s business as well. She loves what she does and one particular little boy has wormed his way into her heart, Rome’s son Matias.

The romance and story that develops throughout this book is amazing! I absolutely loved Rome and Izzy’s story and just didn’t want it to end. Izzy is a character that is truly inspirational. I loved how she stands up for herself and does what needs to be done no matter the consequences.

Rome was broken but Izzy was so devoted to him when he didn’t want anything to do with anyone. She worked her way into Rome’s life and refused to leave.

This was one beautiful romance and one I highly recommend!

Mess Me Up is a great start to a new series! 
It is an emotional story that will break your heart then build it back up. The pain that Rome has had to endure was beyond comprehension. Izzy came into his life at the perfect time and helped heal his heart so he could find the happiness again that he so deserved.
