Blog Tour for Shannyn Schroeder's ONE NIGHT WITH THE MILLIONAIRE

Meet the Author:

Shannyn is an occasional English teacher, who also works as a part-time editor while raising her three kids. Even though she wrote from high school through college (mostly poetry), she’d never considered a career as an author. Writing fell by the wayside as she focused her energy on creating lesson plans and new and fabulous ways to torment her teen students. One group in particular dubbed her “The Torture Master,” a title she carried into motherhood. After the birth of baby number two, Shannyn resigned from teaching and fell in love with reading romance novels. She read so many books so quickly that her husband teased, “If you’re going to read so many damn books, why don’t you just write one?” So she did. That first book is safely buried on her hard drive, but the process set Shannyn on the path to where she is today. The 6-book O’Leary series has wrapped up, as well as 2 Hot & Nerdy new adult trilogies. She’s currently working on her next series. She is recovering from her Diet Coke addiction, fears putting her foot in her mouth on social media, and has a renewed appreciation for the bad girls of the world.

About the Book:

Over-forty, single mom Tess Howland's life is all about caring for other people. Indulging in a one night stand is just what she needs. She doesn't expect to meet anyone she would introduce to her kids, especially not some rich playboy who acts like a big kid himself. Even if he keeps giving her the best sex of her life.
Millionaire Miles Prescott can't get the sexy nurse he met at a fundraising gala out of his head. For the first time ever, he doesn't want a woman with no-strings-attached. He wants everything—even it comes with a ready-made family with a woman in her forties. Suddenly, helping with homework doesn't sound like the worst thing in the world, especially if it means being near Tess.
But what happens when he’s ready to step up and she says no?

Single parents are all the rage but what I loved about this was it’s a single mum in her forties trying to make ends meet, keeping her three children happy and healthy as well as trying to appease the ex husband.
Tess has been divorced for a few years and dating has never been on the cards until she meets Miles at the Saints Marks fundraiser, her job is to work the floor raising funds for her department but when she comes across the hot bored playboy the last thing she expects is a wild night of passion....
Miles is only there because it was his late fathers fundraiser, he is bored with charity circuit but he is there to support his mother, what he didn’t expect was to wake up in the morning and find the woman he spent a passionate night with to have disappeared in the middle of the night.....
This is a present time Cinderella story, it’s fun, it’s romantic and it has characters you can’t help falling in love with. I loved watching this couple get to know each other and I loved seeing Miles learn how to deal with an instant family who may or may not be looking for a father. If you love romance with a feel good factor this is a must read. Can’t wait to read more from Shannon Schroeder.

I thoroughly enjoyed One Night With The Millionaire.  Perhaps because the heroine is a little older; Im not sure. The writing was great and I found myself diving right in and I couldnt put the book down. From the first to the last chapter I was hooked.
A single mum and nurse in her forties, Tess Howlands life is all about trying to maintain peace and a sense of balance; not only with her kids but also her ex-husband and work.
When the opportunity arises for a one night stand with sexy as sin, Miles Prescott, she decides to go for it, after all nothing will come of it, right? Imagine Tesss shock when the millionaire is interested in pursuing more than the initial one night. What will Tess do? Will she accept or run?
Miles and Tess were fantastic together and I loved how accepting Miles was of her life and her children, without completely trying to take over.
This was a feel good romantic lover story that hit all the right buttons for me. I loved the interaction as they got to know one another and it was often amusing to watch as Miles navigated the instant” family he got as their relationship progressed.
This book made me smile and was an entertaining and fun read.
