Deep in the Heart is the first book that I've read by Alexa Padgett and I absolutely loved it!
I loved Jenna's little sayings that she would spout with her inner monologue. After being shoved into the spotlight for being a survivor, she wants nothing more than to work to her heart's content on making guitars.
When a country music star comes into her shop to request a new custom guitar, she never expects him to become something more than a customer.
Camden Grace is a beautiful alpha mixture of a war veteran and country music star. His upcoming concert for the armed forces makes him in desperate need for a new guitar and the girl behind the craft has him more than a little intrigued.
I loved reading the story of these two awesome characters and Jenna's troubles along the way kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved the plot twists and loved the character of Jenna's Pop-Pop. I especially love how Camden shows his feelings for Jenna in the end.
Absolutely amazing read and I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
