Lauren Runow is one of my “must read” authors and she has delivered a fantastic read with her latest release of Our Song.
It’s the story of a girl from a small, country town whose father is a Pastor and a rock star that she has idolised her entire life.
Sarah Russo followed her dreams to New York City until one fateful day took it all away. Now she’s a kindergarten teacher back in her small town desperately trying to gain her father’s approval.
Adam Tyler has it all as the lead singer to Devil’s Breed. He’s off touring North America but part of his heart is in Northern California. He has a secret daughter that no one knows exists until she starts Kindergarten in Miss Russo’s class. Little does he know that when he comes home to surprise Cailin, his daughter, at her first father-daughter dance that he would meet the woman that would change his world.
I thoroughly loved reading this book. It’s not a steamy romance and does have some religion themes but I wouldn’t classify it as a religious romance. The love between Adam and Sarah is truly beautiful and melted my heart throughout the entire book.
I swear I read this book with a perma-smile on my face. I can’t recommend this book enough!

What an amazing beautiful heartwarming story this was!
I really love single dad rocker stories and this was a great one! The only thing I didn’t like was all the religious parts as I'm in no way religious and it made me feel a bit uncomfortable to be quite honest!
The characters though, particularly Sarah and Adam with his daughter were very talented and I loved how they opened up!
They both bring out the best in each other and was it perhaps fate that brought Adam and Sarah together??!!
They go through some difficult moments, where you cant help shed a tear. I loved the banter and the way Adam was with his bandmates, a real brotherhood!

Lauren Runow is the author of multiple Adult Contemporary Romance novels, some more dirty than others. When Lauren isn't writing, you'll find her listening to music, at her local CrossFit, reading, or at the baseball field with her boys. Her only vice is coffee, and she swears it makes her a better mom!
Lauren is a graduate from the Academy of Art in San Francisco and is the founder and co-owner of the community magazine she and her husband publish. She is a proud Rotarian, helps run a local non-profit kids science museum, and was awarded Woman of the Year from Congressman Garamendi.
