The Librarian’s Vampire Assistant book 4 was a different take on the typical vampire PNR books that I’ve previously read.
This series can be read as standalone books but after only reading book 4, I can understand that it would definitely help connect to the characters if the previous books were read.
There was definitely a decent amount of humour in this book. Michael Vanderhorst, the hero, has an ego the size of a small country. But the way the author portrays him has you laughing off and on throughout the entire book. He’s been made king of the Vampires but his mind and heart aren’t in it. He NEEDS to find his librarian.
The twists and turns of Michael’s journey had me wondering what was going to happen next throughout the entire book. And in certain parts you wonder what else could possibly go wrong for him.
I enjoyed reading this book and it definitely has me curious what is going to happen next.
I would recommend starting the series at the beginning before reading the rest so you can truly enjoy the characters.
