Isabel Lucero drew me into this friends to lovers story from the first page; I kept thinking just one more chapter. I loved the characters of Midge and Cillian as well as the secondary ones.
The story was well written, engaging and it was great to see the growth of both the main characters as the book evolved.
What happens when thanks to a few drinks and a hot and spicy game of Truth or Dare, lines are crossed? Can friends become “friends with benefits” without losing their friendship?
Midge doesn’t believe in relationships whilst Cillian does, a refreshing change. She is convinced that what lies between them will end and doesn’t want anyone to know about their new “friends with benefits” relationship.
What Midge doesn’t realize is that Cillian wants more, it’s not just a fling to him.
I loved Cillian, he is hot, sweet and determined to get the woman he loves, if only he can convince Midge to take a leap of faith, to take a chance on love.
This is a fun, heart warming story that left me with a smile on my face. The characters were easy to relate to and you cannot help but become invested in Cillian and Midge’s story.
This book was a little gem and I am off to look at other books by Isabel Lucero.
