“Darren, you’re insatiable.”I backed into him, coaxing him inside me. Who was I kidding? I needed him just as badly.
Using my hip for leverage, he pushed into me painfully slow, filling me entirely. He cradled me closely, kissing my neck as he stilled me in his strong and loving arms. I was surrendering to the love he’d been trying to give that I hadn’t believed was real or deserved. But it was just as real as the air surrounding us—it was always there, even though we couldn’t see it.
What comes after the wedding .......the honeymoon of course and this is the continuation of Darren and Melody’s story so please make sure you read A Picture Perfect Christmas before picking up this one. This may be a quick read but it still packs a mighty punch as secrets are uncovered and the past is determined to rear it’s ugly head. Will Darren and Melody find the strength to overcome the meddling people and the past or will their marriage be over before it’s even began..........
I think this is the perfect continuation and a great addition to the series, it’s well written and it drew me in from the first line and held my attention til the final page , the characters grew as the book progressed and I found myself wishing and hoping this couple got the HEA they deserved.
JP Uvalle is a relatively new author to me. This is a continuation of Darren Hayes and Melody Boyer’s story which we read in A Picture Perfect Christmas.
This is a short, fast paced novella and whilst I enjoyed the story, I still found it a little hard to connect with Darren and Melody at times. Finally Darren and Melody are planning their honeymoon, but when there are secrets that are yet to be uncovered, can these two find the strength to confront the past and the meddling people who appear determined to ruin their chance at happiness or will they be pulled apart?
It was encouraging to see the growth of the characters in this story and although not a long story it was a good addition. Will doubts and insecurities destroy their chance for happiness? Or will they come together and find the strength to put the past to rest once and for all?
About the Author
JP, is a beautifully twisted soul who has the divine ability to make the unbelievable believable.
A Colorado girl born and raised, she graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine and worked seven years as a full-time ER tech.
Marriage and two beautiful kids later, she currently works part-time at a general practice assisting in surgeries and performing dentals.
When JP is not saving lives or coming up with my next plot twist, she loves traveling and spending time with family and friends!
