When Blair Beaufort literally crashes into Bellamy Creek wearing a ball gown and a tiara, I should have towed her car, said goodnight, and sent her packing.
I’m a mechanic, not a hotel manager. I've got enough on my plate trying to keep my shop from going under, my overbearing mother off my back, and my baseball team in contention for the league championship. I don’t have time for a former debutante with zero street smarts and a cash flow problem, even if she is crazy beautiful.
Problem is, she’s stranded in my small town, and I’m hiding a protective streak underneath my grumpy exterior that runs deep. So I offer her a place to stay and keep my hands to myself.
For exactly one night.
If only she weren't so gorgeous. So funny. So eager to please. She’s a disaster behind the wheel, but she drives me wild without even trying--at work, at home, in the back of my truck . . . I can’t get enough of the way she makes me feel.
But I know better than to think it can last. She wants a fairy tale, and I’m no prince.
So when it comes time for her to leave, there’s nothing I can do but let her go.
No matter how much it hurts to say goodbye.

Excerpt
Switching off the lights, I followed her out onto the sidewalk, locking the door behind us. “I need a quick shower and change of clothes. Want to come up with me?”
“Sure.”
I was following her up the stairs to my apartment, looking at her ass and wondering if she had sexual rules and how long it would take me to break them, when I realized she was still talking.
Shit, had she just asked me a question?
At the top of the stairs, she turned around and faced me. “So? Are you going to?”
I stood close. Ridiculously close. So close I could smell her—vanilla and lemon—and she could probably smell me—sweat and motor oil.
“Am I going to what?”I asked, looking at her lips.
She licked them. “Listen to me.”
“Oh. Yeah. I am.” But at that moment, I was pretty sure I was going to do something else to her too.
Suddenly she stepped back. “Good,”she said, her cheeks flushed pink. “On second thought, I think I’ll wait outside. I’m a little warm, and there’s a nice breeze.”
“Okay. I’ll be out in a few minutes.”
Nodding, she turned and descended the stairs so slowly, I wondered if she was dizzy. I watched her hand sliding along the wooden rail, thinking dirty thoughts.
On the landing, she pushed the door open and disappeared from view, but I still couldn’t breathe right.
What would she have done if I’d put my mouth on hers like I’d wanted to just now? Would she have kissed me back? Would she have welcomed my hands on her skin? Or would she have kneed me in the balls and told me to keep my filthy fingers to myself?
She wasn’t like any other girl I’d ever met, which was both the problem and the allure. I didn’t know how to read her.
But damn, I wanted her something fierce.
I took an ice cold shower, hoping it would help.
It didn’t.

Book 1 in Melanie Harlow’s new series and if this book is anything to go by she will have yet another hit on her hands, this book was everything I expected and so much more and I’m excited to see where we are taken next. I thought nothing could top The Cloverleigh Farms Series but I was wrong and I now need to know more about the residents of Bellamy Creek.
This is Blair Peacock and Griffin Dempsey’s story, two people who on the face of it are polar opposites but you know what they say about opposites attract and the chemistry this couple share leads to so much more when they spend time together...
Drive Me Wild is a beautifully written romance that will appeal to a wide range of audiences and it certainly ticked all my boxes. It’s a entertaining, sweet, funny romance with adorable characters and a story you can relate to. If you love small town romance look no further that this gem of a read.
Can’t wait to see where this very talented author takes us in the future visits to the wonderful town of Bellamy Creek. Loved everything about this book.

I have read a number of books by Melanie Harlow. Each book has been well written with characters whose story you cannot help but become invested in. From reading the blurb, I knew that I was going to love Blair Peacock Beaufort and Griffin Dempsey’s story and I was riveted from the first to the last chapter.
They could not be more opposite, Griffon is a mechanic and Blair a former debutante, comes from money. However, opposites do attract and the chemistry that sizzles between them is scorching and so intense that you are in danger of bursting into flames.
Drive Me Wild is a wonderfully written story of love and romance. This book gave me all the feels. It was sweet, spicy, funny and romantic. It tugged at the heart strings and although there were a few times where I was frustrated with the characters and their behaviour, it was all in all an entertaining read that left me with a smile on my face as Melanie Harlow’s characters came to life for me.
I love stories set in small towns and I could easily imagine myself in Bellamy Creek and I cannot wait to see who is next in this latest series from Melanie Harlow. The recipes at the end of the book were an added bonus.

Drive Me Wild is the latest release by Melanie Harlow and I loved it!

Fate is at work when Blair Beufort rolls into Bellamy Creek and blows a tire right outside the pub where Griffin and his best friends are enjoying a beer.

When they hear her tire blow and then see her crash, the guys run to help her. They never expected to see a woman get out of the car dressed in a wedding gown!

Blair is on a mission to re-start her life and after not being able to fit her debutante gown into a suitcase without ruining it, she decides to wear it on her way to new life, thinking it will bring her good luck. Well, she was wrong.

After Griffin meets Blair, he’s not quite sure what to think of her. She’s from a rich family, who has recently loss their wealth and he’s a small town mechanic. They couldn’t be more opposite if they tried. But when Griffin finds out that Blair can’t afford to stay anywhere he offers to share his apartment with her until he can fix her car.

The relationship that forms from these two strong willed and stubborn people is beautiful. Blair is determined to prove that she can be independent and get her dream of owning a bakery started and off the ground. She just didn’t expect to meet and fall for a sexy mechanic and fall in love with his town too.

I love Melanie’s books and she definitely delivers with Drive Me Wild! I highly recommend it!
