Personal Foul is my first read from the author and I can honestly say I don’t know why I haven’t read her before. I may not be interested in sport in any way but sports romance? Sign me up. Lol.
I thought Colson and Sydney’s story was well written with some truly heartfelt moments. I admired them both, for the way they are now, since both their childhoods weren’t easy at all. The way these two meet in an unconventional manner, when Sydney is mugged, Colson has no hesitation in coming to her aide. Hes this caring, charming professional basketball player with a heart of gold. Sydney is a strong woman, who has come far in life and these two are quite the match made in heaven. Sizzling chemistry, great banter and heartwarming moments made this a really wonderful read.
As with any blossoming relationship, someone puts a dampener on things. Can Sydney truly trust Colson or will her past cause her to put a holt on a possible future with him?
