“Once again Colette and Runow created a masterpiece. Their characters were incredibly relatable, the plot was engaging, and the writing was on point. I highly recommend Rebel Roommate. You don't want to miss this! ” - Goodreads Reviewer
BLURB:
Growing up, I had one rule: stay away from my brother’s best friend.
It was easy to follow. I spent my years avoiding the boys on the baseball team, studying hard, and saving every dime I could. When I was accepted to transfer into UC Berkeley, I need a place to live, and my brother had a free room off-campus.
Win-win, right? Except, that best friend I was determined to stay away from is now my new roommate.
My very naughty, very rebellious roommate, Wesley Knight.
The boy who was once the bane of my existence with his constant teasing is now a drop-dead gorgeous athlete. He’s the life of the party, but I can’t have fun. According to Wes, no guys are allowed to talk to me.
Well, two can play at this game. If I can’t date, then neither can he.
It starts off as innocent fun. Some half-naked yoga, or a little flirting; until an interrupted moment of self-gratification turns things dangerous … for my body and my heart.
Living with my brother and his best friend has me breaking all the rules. I just have to decide if the consequences are worth the reward.
Truly a story that shows how difficult and different life is as Stacey moves in with her brother to start at College. Needless to say when she sees Wes, her brothers best friend and her nemesis as a kid, the “brotherly” overprotectiveness is something she is not happy about. Leaving her family home to live with them is frought with drama, witty banter, sizzling chemistry and some trial and error.
To be quite honest I felt really sad for Wes. It was wonderful to see him opening up to Stacey however things do take a turn. Can Stacey make Wes see he is worth it? In certain parts my heart was in my throat and I wasn’t sure how things would go. I really enjoyed this book, it was just wonderful.
Rebel Roommate is a best friend’s sibling romance and one definitely worth reading.
Wes and Stacey’s story started a long time ago when they were growing up and included a game of spin the bottle. As they grew up and Wes was warned off of Stacey by his best friend and Stacey’s brother Chad, he became more of a protector than anything.
Now that Stacey has transferred to Berkley to finish her college degree and is now living with Wes and Chad things start to develop.
The character development in this book was outstanding from start to finish. All the characters have hidden complexities that make their own stories very interesting.
I am seriously loving this story and would highly recommend this or all the other books!
