LLV always delivers a laugh out loud and emotional read that I cannot put down and man did she not disappoint with this one.
Iris is a hoot and a half to read. Her sassy and fierce personality jumps off the pages of this book. I love how her and Shine meet where she recognises the story that Shine is weaving for his “date” is one that is complete B.S. When she jumps up to run to the jukebox to show him that she knows what he’s doing he catches her eye and that’s it. Shine knew he had met his match right then and there.
Yes, it’s insta-love, but it’s a good insta-love. The angst and twists and turns are phenomenal in this book and will definitely keep you guessing.
I really felt for Iris and her familial situation that she’s in. It was pretty heartbreaking to read but I loved how Shine was always there for her.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about this book and this series. I cannot wait to read more!!
