Release Blitz: Golden Touch by Sarina Bowen

A brand new romance from Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Sarina Bowen!

Livia

Once upon a time I spent an evening flirting with a handsome stranger in a bar. But before we could finish what we started, I lost my nerve and fled.

Months later, I’m minding my own business at work one morning when a stranger lets himself into the empty brewery. Panicked, I call 911, and the cops show up to slap on the handcuffs.

In my defense, I have very good reasons to be afraid. Also in my defense, I’d never met my boss’s son.

Or so I’d thought…

Nash

I don’t know what this chick has against me. First she ditches me, and now she wants to arrest me.

Livia is as frustrating as she is hot. But nobody else knows the brewery better than she does. Now we’re stuck together, sharing an office and a very small house as I run the brewery for six weeks for my cranky dad.

That’s just enough time to bring down her guard. Turns out we have a lot more in common than we thought, including a lot of smoking hot chemistry. Until Livia’s past catches up with her, and I finally figure out why she’s so jumpy. But I’ll stop at nothing to protect her, unless her ex finds her first…

Audiobook review….5 Stars.
Livia and Nash's journey started months ago when they first met at a bar. Livia observed Nash at her workplace, and it turned out he worked there too!
"Golden Touch" is a thrilling, fast-paced story filled with tension and intense chemistry between Livia and Nash.

Livia is fleeing from her abusive boyfriend, and Nash is her protector while also working at his father's business alongside Livia.

Nash's charm is undeniable, and their attraction is absolutely electrifying! Samantha Brentmoor's narration and Tim Paige's performance were both outstanding.

Golden Touch is the second book in the Giltmaker series but was the first book I have read. Thankfully, each book can be read as a standalone.

Golden Touch is the story of Livia and Nash. Nash is the Giltmaker Brewery owner’s son who has been called home from Boston to help run things while his father recuperates in a rehab facility. What Nash wasn’t expecting was to get slapped with handcuffs right after arriving!

Livia is the bookkeeper for the Giltmaker Brewery. She’s feisty but is also a very private person. She has sworn off all men at this point after having a very troublesome history. She loves her job and wants to keep it all costs. So when someone “breaks” into the brewery one day she doesn’t hesitate to call 911. Only problem was she didn’t realise the person who “broke in” was the owner’s long lost son, Nash.

Nash and Livia get to know each other over the course of a couple of months while sharing the bunk house on the Brewery premises. Nash starts picking up on a few things about Livia that has him questioning what exactly is happening with her. Things between them start to heat up and their connection only gets closer.

I loved the characteristics of these characters. Livia is trying to live her life while also protecting herself at all costs. She doesn’t want a repeat of history and really doesn’t want her ex to find her. I love how protective Nash is, not only of his family’s brewery but also of Livia.

I also loved the plot twists and the entire vibe of this book in general. It was amazing and I can’t wait to catch up with book 1 and also read the next book!
