I absolutely loved this book! Lani Lynn Vale never fails to deliver a brilliant romance and Rent Free certainly lives up that expectation!
This is the fifth book in the Carter brothers series and features Atlas Carter and Pepper. Pepper has a sister, Sage, who is nothing but trouble and causes chaos. Pepper’s mother had one last wish, that Pepper and her brothers give Sage one last chance.
So Pepper uproots her life and moves to the city where Sage is and discovers that Sage has Atlas completely fooled. Atlas goes so far as to accuse Pepper of wrongdoing, except he discovers that Pepper is more than she seems and gets under his skin.
Sage, is one vindictive woman, who doesn’t care anything about anyone except herself. Pepper needs to prove to everyone that Sage isn’t what she seems. While doing that, she learns that Atlas is more compassionate and protective than he originally seemed. When stuff hits the fan, Atlas proves his worth when he helps Pepper when things start going wrong.
There were plenty of twists and turns that kept me turning the pages well into the early hours of the morning! I can’t wait to read the next one!
