I absolutely loved this book! I’m currently obsessed with dragon shifter romances and this one did NOT disappoint. 

Cara lives in a Fae world where dragon shifters are like Gods. They protect villages and the villagers are willing to do just about anything to keep themselves safe, including giving up their magic to the Fae. Cara has already lost her magic, and she’s desperate to keep her younger sister from the same fate. She’s also trying her hardest to find a cure for her brother’s illness. 

When Fieran and his clan come to Cara’s village to help protect them against monsters, Cara gets swept up in helping them. No one knows her secret and she wants to keep it that way but can’t help doing her best for the people she lives with. Fieran has secrets of his own that he tries to hide from Cara until he takes her to the Dragon trials and all is revealed. 

I loved the intricacies of this well thought out and written world. The author does an amazing job of bringing the reader along with each step into this new world. 

I can’t wait to read the next instalment!
