Wow! This book is chock a block full of steamy scenes, action, and plenty of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Now, this book was a lot longer than I thought it would be but it’s needed! 

Rebecca Parcha describes the world she created so well and believable even though it’s a world full of vampires and other mystical creatures. 

Tate Aaralyn is a vampire but has always seen herself as different than most of the other in the Glenn. She firmly believes in her morals that ALL should be protected, not just vampire kind. Unfortunately, those morals tend to get her in a bit of trouble and she finds herself in front of a disciplinary hearing that doesn’t go her way. 

When she finds herself in the presence of Aether, a vampire who isn’t like any she’s ever met before she feels this connection that she can’t describe. She can’t stand him but yet keeps feeling this draw toward him. 

Tate along with her new friends must battle these dark magic created creatures that keep attacking their villages while also discovering a new side to herself that she never expected. Her power is growing exponentially and only her new friends seem to be able to help her get a handle on it. 

The action scenes are next level in this book and I’m all here for it! The author describes them so well but doesn’t go into too much detail. It’s just right. 

I honestly can’t wait to dive into the next book and find out what happens!

I hate to admit that Daniel was right. The dance floor is packed with gorgeous young men showing their lithe, scantily clad bodies to the surrounding observers. They dance and grind to the heavy beat of the music. Some dance alone, others with friends. It’s a beautiful sight, but none of them has me wanting to make a move.

Oh, hello. Who is that?

Damn, he’s perfect, so beautiful. Slim and tiny, he’d fit perfectly in my hands. His shaggy blond hair shines under the myriad of multicolored lights. The tight, cropped tank top matches with his silver… Are they hot pants? I need to see more of him. My pulse rises, and my dick chubs up. Hell, he’s sex on legs, and he can move, like really move. The man with him is laughing as he dances, but he doesn’t even begin to compare. As if in a daze, I step up behind him and place my hands on his hips. Anonymous: Why? Me: BECAUSE I DON’T KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!!!! “What is he saying?” Vikki asks. I show her the texts and her eyes widen. “So, you haven’t talked to him since you blocked the number?” I think back to when I blocked it and if my calculations are correct, the ninety days was up yesterday. “No, but he has perfect timing. My ninety days ran up yesterday. I might need to run to the cell store and see if they can block it permanently.” My phone beeps again and a sharp pain settles in my gut. I just want whoever it is to leave me alone. Anonymous: That hurts. You’ve always been friendly toward me. Me: Obviously not friendly enough, if you can’t tell me who you are. It’s weird and it makes me uncomfortable. You need to leave me the hell alone. Don’t text, call, or try to contact me in any way. I’m happily married, and I want it to stay that way. GOODBYE! Heart racing, I log into my cell phone account and before I can block the number, another text comes through. Anonymous: Sorry 31773 but that’s not going to happen. The blood in my veins runs cold. Hands shaking, I block his number and my phone drops onto the table. Vikki picks it up and reads the final text, her face growing pale. “I don’t think this person’s going away."

 

 

Anonymous is a standalone romantic suspense novel that roped me in and did not let me go. 

This story captured me from the very beginning. The suspense was amazingly well written and kept me guessing until the very end. You never knew who was sending Ellie the anonymous text messages and boy did I never see it coming when it was finally revealed!

Anonymous took on a bit of a different twist to romantic suspense that I found myself enjoying. It's not about Ellie finding love through the mystery but that she's already happily married and is trying to figure out who is stalking her. I loved Jake, the hero, in this book. He's an ex-MMA fighter who protects Ellie at all costs. And I loved that even with all the trouble that they both encounter that their relationship still comes out stronger for it.

Definitely worth reading!
