Not What I Expected is the first book by Jewel E. Ann that is have read and I can definitely say that I am a fan! I love her writing style, her characters are well developed and easy to like and her storyline is unique, engaging and kept my attention from beginning to the end. 
This is a wonderful, emotional story as Elsie tries to find her way after the death of her husband. She is carrying a lot of baggage, guilt and uncertainty about what the next step in her life should be and Kael is definitely complicating those decisions. 
Kael is twelve years younger, her competition and he is also attracted to her in a way he doesn’t quite expect. What started out as just a physical relationship has blossomed into so much more for both of them. The real twist is that he is definitely not what she expected. He is a a great guy who Elsie doesn’t want to like but she can’t help being drawn to him on so many levels. But was he just a stop along the way of her finding herself or will he end up being more in her life?

Epoch is the 2nd and final book in this series and is EPIC.
I dont think I can write something that will tell you how incredibly riveting and moving this book is. 
There are so many things that happen in this story and some may surprise the heck out of you, just as they did me. I really loved the characters. I felt incredibly sorry for Swayze. I wanted to just dive into the book and hug her for all that she was going through. That girl goes through so much in her young life, you have to wonder if she will come out of it intact. I really loved the storyline, so much so, I stayed up late to finish as I just had to know what will happen and Im really happy and overjoyed with how it ended. This is a definite MUST READ series.

The final book in this amazing duet and I’m finding it hard to say anything that hasn’t already been said about this brilliant book. This book is one of the most moving stories  I have ever read and I really don’t want to write a review that is full of spoilers so I’m just going to tell you how I felt of reading this book....this book was the perfect end, the writing flowed and was flawless, I adored Sawayze, Nate and Griffin and they all stole a little piece of my heart, i was taken on a roller coaster ride, my emotions were all over the place, yes I shed some tears but every tear was worth it because this book captivated me. I was blown away and if you haven’t looked at this duet you need too, Jewel E Ann has once again shown what an amazing talent she has in the world of literature.

Jewel E. Ann is a relatively new author to me ( I have only read 1 book of hers prior to this one) but she is fast becoming a go to author for me, her writing draws me in and doesn’t let me go until I have read the last line and Transcend was no different, I could not put it down. What I need to say is this review is going to be hard to write without spoilers but I’m going to give it my best shot.....

A tragedy leaves Professor Nathaniel Hunt a widower with a new born to raise, so he does what is needed and hires a nanny, she maybe young but on paper she looks well qualified but she also has a crazy name obsession and a boyfriend she met at the grocery store. The new nanny also seems to know things about him, things that happened decades ago, she speaks familiar words, shares haunting memories and she even knows his favourite pizza and how he cheated on his Spanish test in high school...... how can this be, well I guess you need to read the book to find out.
This book is like no other I have read, the more books I read by Jewel.E. Ann the more I see just what a amazing talent she has with her writing, no two books are ever the same and every book so far has been brilliant, I can’t wait for book 2 in this duet.
