This book is Elle’s story and man does it pack an emotional punch.
This book like the first in the series is set in the small town of Hope River where everyone knows everybody and everything that is going on.
Elle and the town sheriff, Jake, have had a secret thing for each other since Elle first arrived in town. Elle is now afraid that her past has to come back to haunt her and Jake now realises he can’t stand the idea of losing her.
Elle and Jake both face their pasts in order to be able to move forward with each other. As always the secondary characters in this book really bring this book to the next level. May aka Gran, is always there to bring some blunt levity to the situation but another level is also added to Gran’s character in this book. And then there is Hope, the heroine from the first book in the series. That girl has absolutely no filter and makes some of the situations incredibly funny.
Margaret McHeyzer delivers another incredible book with Our Chance and I highly recommend it!

STRONG, BRAVE AND COURAGEOUS CHARACTERS.
**Write something worth reading**
I'm Margaret and I'm a self-published author.
Recently I was fortunate in obtaining New York Times best-selling status on my YA/NA book - Ugly, and my YA book - Mistrust.
My last six books have been YA and I'm completely in love with the genre. I love being able to communicate with people through my words and stories.
My writing genres all differ, but the one thing I keep consistent is my heroines. All my female lead characters are strong, gutsy and not the 'perfect' woman. While my books all have romantic elements in them, they aren't just about the romance. They're about finding strength, acceptance and making life long connections.
I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I have while writing them.

RELEASE BLITZ - Hope's River by Margaret McHeyzer
Hope's River is the first book in Margaret McHeyzer's newest small town romance series.
Everyone needs to read this slow burn, witty small town romance!
The characters will have you wanting to pull your hair out but also laughing about it at the same time.
Hope finds herself driving with no destination in mind until she sees a sign for a town called Hope River. Surely that has to be a sign for her. When she finds a house for sale that is in desperate need for her renovation loving she can't pass the opportunity up.
Never in a million years did she expect to find her long lost love in the same time though.
River is the town's electrician and thanks to his father being in the military moved around a lot when he was a kid. He never forgot the short time he got to know to Hope though. Now, years later he stumbles upon her flipping a house and can't pass up the opportunity to finally see if they can go the distance.
I absolutely loved this book from start to finish. The characters in this book and their stories will pull on your heart strings and also have you cackling with laughter. May (aka Gran) is a character and a half. With no filter, I was constantly laughing with what she came out with. Chapter 17 is my all time fav though.
Everyone needs to read this incredible book. I can't wait to read Elle's story next!!

Working with my hands has always been my passion, so now I flip houses for a living. I love what I do.
I was happy where my life was heading.
Although I knew he wasn’t the one, I was even content with my long-term relationship, until suddenly I wasn’t.
I needed a change, so I got in my truck and asked the universe to help a sister out. It was then that I stumbled upon a cute small town called Hope River. Ironic really...
Not only did the name of the town hold significance to my past, but it led me to find something I thought was once lost.
*A stand alone, second chance, small town romance.

EXCERPT
“I’m sick of you pushing me away. Get out of the way of our happiness, Hope. We need each other.” His fingers find their way inside of me, and I suck in a breath as he plays and brings me to the brink of having an orgasm. Right here in a fucking vegan restaurant.
Wait, is it really hot in here? Has someone turned the heat on?
His mouth takes mine, muffling my sighs and moans as I concentrate on increasing this ecstatic explosion quickly rising.
“Oh shit.” I grab on to him, and try to grind against his hand. Shit, shit, shit. “I’m nearly there.” I keep moving my hips, wanting him to bring me undone. Suddenly, he pulls away and slowly brings his fingers up to his mouth. “What are you doing?” I nearly leap on him to finish what he started.
He sucks on his fingers, and winks. “You want me to finish?” I’m nodding furiously. “Then come to my house tonight.” He opens the door, and walks out.
What the actual fuckity fuck, fuck, just happened?

RELEASE BLITZ & Review by Sara - The Gift by Margaret McHeyzer
The something I have, isn't a possession, it's more.
Much, much more.
It's a gift.
It's part of me.
At the beginning, I wasn’t too sure if I was going to get into it as the heroine is only sixteen and still in high school. But let me tell you, it didn’t matter!
When Lexi tries to save Jude’s life, everything she knows takes an insane turn and will never be the same.
This book sucked me right in and I could barely put it down to sleep! The plot twists are amazing and the character development in both Lexi and Jude were really well done.
The Curse is the second book due out and it can come quick enough!!
