It is a sweet second chance romance between the sexy, hot guy and the beautiful, sassy woman, but in order to find there happily ever after they have to overcome betrayal and lies in order to find the passion and love. West left Eryn at the altar three years earlier and is back to make amends and get back his girl. She is just not interested until he works his charms and reminds her of what they were together, but that doesn’t mean she is going to easily trust him. It is fun to read how hard he has to work to win her all over again, but the effort is worth it in the end!
Eryn Hope was left a shattered woman by Weston Quaid after he left her at the altar. Fast forward three years and everything is about to change and not necessarily for the better. Ms.Black had me from the first chapter, hook line and sinker; I really could not put this one down.
Thanks to his family West was forced to walk away from the women he loved and now it seems that fate is about to play another game of chance with their lives.
This is a second chance at love story with a twist. I really enjoy Shayla Black’s writing style and although there were times that I was frustrated, all in all I enjoyed this book. There was passion, love, angst, betrayal and forgiveness woven into the story line and I was anxious to see how it would all play out.
Despite the years and the hurts of the past, passion and attraction still burns bright between West and Eryn, so much so that she contemplates giving him another chance. Can West and Eryn rebuild the love and trust they had or has it been shattered beyond repair?

Shayla Black is not one of my go to authors but the Misadventures Series certainly are must reads for me so I was excited to read an author I don’t read all the time and this author did not disappoint, once again another great story from the team of very talented authors who make up this Misadventures Series.
Eryn Hope had her heart broken once before by Weston Quaid when he left her at the altar but that was 3 years ago and times have moved on or have they !!. Weston knows he made a mistake letting his family intervene in his personal life but that doesn’ mean Eryn is ready to try again with the man who shattered her. Sometimes fate steps in when we least expect it and sends us down a road we never planned to go and that’s exactly what’s happens for this couple.If you love Second Chance romance you will certainly want this book on your TBR list, it has the perfect mix of romance, angst with just a mix of humour. Meet The Author
