Chalk Dirty to Me is the latest release in Lani Lynn Vale’s MADD Cross Fit series. I swear this series just keeps getting better and better.
Cannel Crow and Wilhelm Schultz meet for the first time in this book and wow, what an amazingly well written romance.
Cannel Crow has finally started re-living her life again after being kidnapped and sold into sex trafficking. Even though she may be considered one of the lucky ones, she definitely still has a lot to overcome.
Detective Wilhelm Schultz works has recently started working for the Paris Police Department and is nearly finished with probationary training. When he meets Cannel for the first time as part of an investigation he can’t seem to get her out of his mind. Her behaviour definitely raises some red flags but her beauty is truly unforgettable.
Cannel and Will together are truly a gorgeous couple. Will is so patient with Cannel and her triggers with her PTSD. She truly is a survivor and has to overcome so much to try and live a normal life.
This book was again a unique spin on Lani’s usual style of writing and it’s seriously written incredibly well. She also keeps her readers intrigued with how CrossFit fits into different people’s lives.
I can’t get enough of this series and can’t wait to read the next book!
