Goodreads Review - “It was a really great addition to this amazing series!”
Goodreads Review - “I don’t even know what more to say about this series that I haven’t already. I love the magical feel of this series and with each book I fall in love with this world more.”
When her deceptive plan against the Royal Pack fails, royal arctic wolf, Kara Channon, finds herself stripped of her strength and left with nothing but the weak human shell of a body. Knowing it’s too dangerous for her to stay in Wyoming, Chase Maheegan volunteers to be her jailor and take her to California to be with him.
For years, they were rivals.
Now, he’s her only hope.
Chase always enjoyed making the uptight royal squirm, but Kara refused to give in to her attraction for him... until now. Desperate for her power to be restored, Kara spends a passionate night in his arms only to sneak away in the morning and thrust herself into a world of danger.
Time is running out as darkness circles the beautiful wolf. Can Chase get to her in time to save her from herself? Or will the lure of an unmated royal mark her as a target for those who would kill to claim her?
I love this series more and more with each release!
Taken Under the Moon takes an interesting turn with the main characters and it had me glued to my screen until the very end.
We finally get Chase Maheegan's story! I have loved Chase's character since the beginning. He's a vineyard owner in California and is one of the most passionate alpha's I've ever read.
This book had that extra oomph thanks to the heroine and that this story is also an enemies to lovers one as well. Kara is a Royal Arctic who just ended up pissing off all the other members of the Royal pack by her actions in a previous story. Now, the pack is punishing her and it's up to her to work out how to get herself out of the situation she's in.
Kara is one of the older members of the pack at over two hundred years old and is a bit of an elitist. She also owns her own vineyard and frequently competes against Chase's. When Chase is tasked with protecting Kara, Kara and Chase get on as well as water and oil go together.
But over time, they start to form a bit of a bond and start really getting to know one another. The character development in Kara is fantastic to read. She comes so far throughout this book.
I absolutely loved reading this book and can't wait to see what happens next!
