Holy hell! What a way to start a new trilogy!
Aly Martinez never fails to deliver a gripping romance and she definitely succeeds with this book.
I read this book in one go because I literally, could not put it down. I was up well into the early hours of the morning finishing this insanely amazing story.
Bowen and Remi have something in common that not many people do, they both survived a horrific plane crash. Bowen is heart broken as he lost the love of his life in the plane crash and after having to attend court for the settlement of the law suit against the airline he just doesn't want to have anything to do with anyone. He's a successful accountant and loves what he does, he just doesn't enjoy people.
When Remi sees Bowen at the courthouse and literally runs into the man, she can't seem to stop thinking about him. When fate intervenes and they happen to be in the same area at the same time, Remi can't stop herself from approaching Bowen again.
This book was filled with amazing plot twists that I never saw coming and it took me days to finally process what I had just read!
I can't wait to read what happens next!
