When she begs me to come on a weekend getaway so I can bond with her new boyfriend, I can’t say no—no matter how badly I want to. After all, who will keep an eye on the guy; he’s your stereotypical, professional football player (emphasis on PLAYER) and I don’t trust him with my friends heart.

In fact, everyone adores but me **narrows eyes** What’s he hiding?
I refuse to fall for his act; at some point he’ll will drop the Good Guy act and show his true colors: he’s a player, too. He must be.

The Player Hater is an entertaining, easy to read story that I finished with a big smile on my face! When Juliet’s best friend Mia asks her to come to a getaway her boyfriend is paying for, she reluctantly agrees!
Hilarious antics, witty banter and the way Juliet and Davis get to know each other is highly comedic. This book is a veritable slow burn, a getting to know you story which I found incredibly adorable. Juliet may seem shy at first but once she gets to know you, well, its on….lol. And Davis is quite the endearing gentleman especially with how he comes across.
These two have a somewhat enjoyable getaway with their best friends and I honestly loved every moment.
This is such an engaging, uplifting, fun read and I cant wait for the next book from the author.
Juliet is begged by her best friend, Mia, to go on a weekend away with her boyfriend and his best friend to get to know them better. One problem though, he won’t tell them where they’re going! So Juliet packs thinking surely they’ll be going to a warm tropical place. Nope!
Juliet is in for the shock of her life when it turns out that they are glamping for the weekend. And a bigger shock, she’s sharing her little camper with Davis, the best friend of Mia’s boyfriend!
What starts off as a horrific weekend turns into a great way to get to know Davis and Juliet soon realises that the media doesn’t exactly portray the real deal of professional athletes.
The banter between the characters is absolutely hysterical and more than once I was crying because I was laughing so hard.
I truly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from this fantastic author!
Among her favorite vices, she includes: iced lattes, historical architecture and well-placed sarcasm. She lives colorfully, collects vintage books, art, loves flea markets, and fancies herself British.
