Keep Me Close is the first book that I've read in the Light My Fire series and I absolutely loved it!
Even though this is book five in the series, I didn't struggle reading this book.
This is the story of Chase and Hallie in a beautiful town in Alaska. I love reading books in Alaska as it's one place that I haven't yet visited.
Hallie decides that she needs to let loose one night and enjoy life. What she wasn't anticipating was falling pregnant after that one night. I had to say I respected the hell out of Hallie for following through and finding Chase straight away even though she had to go about it in a few embarrassing ways.
Chase, even though he's in a less than ideal situation, really steps up and fights tooth and nail to be there for Hallie.
I loved reading this slow burn, unexpected pregnancy romance and am definitely intrigued to see what the rest of the series holds.
