Synopsis: Don’t let my petite and innocent appearance fool you, because I’m one person you don’t want to cross. I’m Micah, the youngest member of Resurrection…If only they knew how young. My fake ID says I’m twenty-one.
And I will be…in four years.
What can I say? I blossomed early. Home sucked, so I left, determined to do something with my life.
Landing the gig as lead vocalist in the band was a dream come true. I’ve worked hard to make something of myself and nothing is going to ruin that for me.
Then He showed up.
He’s hot as hell and so into me. But he’s also twenty-five.
I don’t want to lie to him, but if the truth comes out I’ll lose everything, including him.

About Missy Johnson

Missy lives in a small town in Central Victoria with her husband, and her confused pets (a dog who think she’s a cat, a cat who thinks he’s a dog…you get the picture).
When she’s not writing, she can usually be found looking for something to read.

5 Stars

I really loved reading this book!!! It was entertaining yet emotional at times, considering what the two main characters went through in their life till now.
This is a story about Micha and Saxon.
Micha has been living under this name for a number of years. She meets Saxon when she auditions for the band Resurrection. What follows her acceptance as the new lead singer of the band is some interesting outcomes as she has been living a lie, should she tell Saxon the truth?? Well you will find that out when you read it.
Micha is really only 17, Saxon is 25, he thinks she’s 21. She is rather mature for her age though and you do learn why this is the case.
We hear about her heartfelt tragic story, as well as what happened in Saxon’s life prior to his position in the band. I loved the way Missy wrote this story. You really felt for the characters at certain moments. Saxon and Micah both had things they had to come to terms with and trying to get some sort of closure from their tragic moments in their past was difficult but they were able to get past certain things and be happier.
The members of the band, Saxons sister Stacey and Micah’s friend Dee all helped make this an amazing story to read.  Well done Missy, I am really looking forward to reading Saxon’s story!!!
