NOME-O SEEKS JULIET by Katy Regnery - RELEASE BLAST

New York Times bestselling author Katy Regnery returns with the second book in her Odds-Are-Good series!
Release Date: November 4

When a lonely vet(eran) and an ambitious vet(erinarian) work together to win the Qimmiq 200, sparks will fly…

Montana-born veterinary student, Juliet Sanderson, is disappointed when her project on the treatment and care of sled dogs falls through due to the illness of a local musher. In an effort to salvage her study and graduate, she answers the personal ad of Alaskan musher, Cody Garrison, who is desperately seeking a teammate for an upcoming co-ed race, The Qimmiq 200.

Cody Garrison, a retired U.S. Marine, doesn’t tell Juliet that he was left permanently disabled during his time in active service, fearing that she wouldn’t agree to race with him if she knew. But once she arrives in Alaska, discovering the truth about Cody’s past will be inevitable. Will the partnership they’ve agreed to, and the off-the-charts chemistry between them, be enough to see them through the rigors of training and secure them the win of their lives?

Katy Regnery is one of my favourite authors and has delivered another AMAZING novel with her latest book Nome-o and Juliet.

Firstly, the cover of this book is absolutely gorgeous and immediately drew my attention with the adorable puppy dogs. I’m a sucker for an animal lover romance!

Juliet Sanderson is a vet student in her final year at the University of Minnesota and was successful in her application for a grant to study sled dog racing. She finds herself responding to a classified ad in a magazine from Alaska to fulfil her grant as her original plan fell through. Juliet ends up going to a little town called Nome in Alaska for three months to study dog sled racing and to learn how to sled herself! I found this topic absolutely fascinating to read and I love how Juliet fell in love with all 19 dogs that her new partner has.

Cody’s dream is to race the Iditarod and to do so he needs to qualify by finishing the Qimmiq race which is a mixed gender race. So when he can’t find a qualified female in his area he puts an ad in the local magazine. He never imagined a beautiful woman from Montana would respond to his ad. Cody is a Marine veteran who has had five of his ten fingers blown off after picking up an IED which he thought was disabled. He’s ashamed of his disability and hasn’t had a relationship for over a decade. While training with Juliet he finds himself slowly falling for her more and more.

I loved every page of this book! It was unique, interesting and had me swooning all over the place. Of course, I ended up crying and had a puddle on my pillow but it was the best kind of tears!

I can’t wait to read more of this series!

Katy Regnery has delivered another beautiful must read story!
None-O Seeks Juliet is a sweet refreshing romance that I didn’t want to put down and throughly enjoyed.
A love of dogs and a chance to help each other is what brought Cody and Juliet  together but understanding and acceptance is what sealed the deal to a relationship neither of them ever expected.
